Good overall experience - Wrong time of the year to see whales, but we saw lots of dolphins. Snorkeling was an option and lots of fun. Standing and stretching is not really an option and very hard seats so be aware of that

Everyone should go. - We had an amazing journey. We were able to see a momma and her calf. We loved that we were able to also go snorkeling. Pretty amazing. Thank you all so much. Lots of information along the trip.

Awesome trip - This was an excellent trip and we were successfully able to see a whale. The guides were excellent in explaining that the whale was not guaranteed to show up, however, they were going to take us out in hopes to see one. That was clear from the start. The whale watching experience is a cooperative between several tour boats and whoever sees the whale notifies the others of it and then all efforts are made to get us, the tourists, a glimpse of a whale out in nature. These whales have a mind of their own, they are out in their natural habitat and they don't follow tour hours or put up shows. So, needless to say, we were extremely appreciative of the opportunity to see one. The guides were so informative and helpful. I would recommend this 100%..

Couldn’t be better - The boat was small, the guides were outstanding, the captain was shockingly knowledgeable about local sea and shore life and incredibly friendly, and the rules on the boat helped everyone see a humpback whale that surfaced near us several times.

Duplicity - Save for the initial check in, a great trip. Juliana at Adventure Uno in Uvita was awesome. Further, we somewhat serendipitously happened upon two mother and calf humpbacks. Cannot overstate how great this part of the trip was. My grievance pertains solely to Viator in offering private tours with Adventure Uno: the boating company in Uvita never made any pretense about offering private tours. Upshot: I’m out twenty bucks a person ($40 total) for a service that was falsely advertised through Viator, not Adventure Uno. The money is not really the issue; it’s the duplicity on the part of Viator.

Good but wrong time of year for whales - Overall good experience, we saw dolphins and did a snorkeling spot and staff were pleasant. However, the trip is advertised as a Whale tour but should be called a dolphin tour or discounted towards the end of March/start of April as it is expensive for what it is.
