- Salar de Uyuni - Begin your journey departing from Uyuni town to the Uyuni Salt Flats (a full-day excursion) at 10:30 a.m., starting with a stop at Uyuni’s ‘train graveyard’ to view Bolivia’s first locomotives. Next, visit the small village of Colchani, known for its salt miners’ workshops, and explore handicrafts made from salt and textiles crafted from llama and alpaca wool. Capture stunning photos as you travel across the expansive white salt flats. Then, visit “Ojos de Agua Salada” and a hotel entirely constructed from salt, now serving as a museum.
Lunch will be provided near “Isla Incahuasi.” Afterwards, take the opportunity to hike to the island’s peak to observe giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral. Spend some time arranging your group for creative perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the dazzling white salt flats. Finally, proceed to a wide-open area to witness the breathtaking sunset over the salt flats.

The best salt flats experience! - WOW! We had the most wonderful guide Ronaldo and sweetest drive José who gave us the most wonderful tour. They were so kind and Ronaldo should be a professional photographer in our opinion! We had a wonderful picnic lunch on the flats and made it to the reflected water for sunset. It was an incredibly special day and something I shall never forget. Gracias Ronaldito y José ❤️

Great tour to see what you need in 1 day! - This tour was fantastic to see everything you’d want in only a day. Out tour guides us when we arrived in Uyuni, and took us to all the stops on the tour. Our tour guide Lucio Blanco was well-informed and enthusiastic. He gave us the history of the area, as well as the best advice on which photos to take (including setting up many optical illusion photos!). We never felt rushed; we had plenty of time to see each stop. Overall, this tour was ideal to see as much as you can in Uyuni in 1 day. Would very much recommend.

Knowledgeable, super fun. Amazing. - Superb! Daniel our guide and Koki our driver we’re superb! We had an amazing day. Daniel spoke great English and Koki was a very good driver. Daniel is an expert at getting great photos on the salt flats - so much fun.
Lunch was excellent as was all the info about the trains, history of the mines, salt making and Incahuasi island too. Daniel even played the pipes and flute! Just outstanding. And the nibbles and wine at sunset just wrapped it all up nicely. Highly recommend.

Uyuni beauty - It’s a beautiful must see if you’re in Uyuni. The one day tour meant we saw the train graveyard, the stunning salt flats, and a coral island inhabited by locals in years gone by. We had a delicious locally cooked lunch too, in a salt restaurant part way through the day. The tour guide Danny was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of the cultural and geographical history. We finished the day watching the sunset with a glass of local wine. It was magnificent.

Choose another operator! - Unfortunately I have to give a low rating because this operator has no flexibility. I am writing this with many years of experience in events of this type.
We had a problem with the transport to Uyuni and had to move our tour to the following day. The operator refused to help us with this and we ended up missing the ride, with no refund. We also offered to cover fixed costs.
I can understand that you have costs that cannot be paid back, but once in Uyuni, I see that you fill as many cars as you need for the day. There is obviously a high dynamic in the business and it should not have been a problem to move us to the next day.

No cooperation - Due to a delayed bus, we did not make it to the excursion. Notified 14 hours before (24 hour cancellation limit) and wanted to change the day but it was not approved by the organizer. The trip was canceled without refund. Found another great organizer at half the price that can be highly recommended. Andes salt expeditions Tour operator. Their guide Cristian was fantastic.
