Highlights
- Plaza de Manises - We will begin the Borgia route in Plaza Manises in front of the palace of the Generalitat Valenciana making an introduction about the two popes of this Valencian family: Calixto III and Alexander VI.
- Parroquia de San Nicolas de Bari y San Pedro Martir - We will stop in front of the original façade of this church to explain details of the life and that of Alfonso de Borgia, who was Pope under the name Calixto III
- Museo Catedral de Valencia - We will visit the entire interior of Valencia Cathedral, describing the works linked to the Borgias and the famous Holy Chalice. In the Museum we will see the grandiose processional monstrance.
- Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados - Inside the Basilica is the patron saint of Valencia: the Virgen de los Desamparados and its impressive baroque frescoes by the painter Antonio Palomino from the early 18th century.
- Plaça de Sant Llorenç - We will finish in the Plaza de San Lorenzo where the Borgia Palace is located and the current headquarters of the Valencian Cortes. There we will explain the final outcome of the family.

Great tour, wonderful tour guide - Tour guide possessed wealth of historical knowledge about the city and events regarding the borjas. Would highly recommend this tour

Great guide around the center of valencia - Great guide, very knowledgable and a lot of passion. He walked us around and relayed the entire dynasty of the borjas and left no site unseen.

Very informative - Paulino was a very knowledgeable guide. Learnt a lot about the Borgias, got to skip the queue at the cathedral and see the holy grail before that chapel closed at 11:00.

Excellent tour that you don’t want to miss! - Our tour guide was knowledgeable, full of life and made the tour exciting and fun. We had watched the Borgia series on American Tv but never knew about all of the connections to Valencia.

Walking Tour In Valencia - We booked a Spanish language tour because it was the only one that fit our timeframe and guessing we could pick up enough information (not the best idea in hindsight) .
Paulino was our tour guide, he was simply fantastic, it could not have been better. He spoke English well enough to go through the entire tour without a flaw. He is a very nice guy and you could tell from his interactions with other guides, everyone like him. It was the best guided tour we had in our 15 day visit to Spain.

Great guide but expensive - The guide was very enthusiastic and provided an excellent overview of the Borja family and the buildings of the old downtown area. It was disappointing to learn that one does not actually see the Borja palace (not open to the public). The family history is complicated and for those not familiar with it, it was difficult to follow. A diagram of the family tree to continuously show the tour would have markedly enhanced the delivery and understanding of the intrigue.
