Awesome - From the moment I arrived it was clear that Christian our tour guide was going to ensure the tour was a lot of fun! His knowledge was outstanding and he made the whole trip the perfect combination of informative and hilarious! We ate so much during the tour I barely needed any food in the evening and I would 100% recommend the tour to anyone wanting a great half day food and drink tour!

Food, drink, entertainment, culture and history! Book! - Chris is an amazing guide. Extremely knowledgeable but made it really fun. Warm, enthusiastic and animated. Brought the group together, remembered our names and facilitated conversation. In terms of what you get, excellent value for money. Don’t have a big breakfast as you start with some amazing pastizzi and the food tasting doesn’t stop after that. Drinks included. Adequate stops including loo breaks. Wear comfy shoes as you walk a lot but a reasonable pace! You get a huge dose of history and culture. We have done many of these tours all over Europe and this was definately one of the best’

Fabulous food and walking tour of Valletta - Highly recommend this good tour! Not only do you get to taste the delicious local cuisine but also get a well organised and presented tour of gorgeous Valletta and its history. Chris, was an exceptional tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and funny! Which made for good entertainment while getting to know Valletta better. The food we tried was traditional food and drink from Malta and provided by small local cafes/shops which was good to see that this tour supports small local businesses. A nice way to meet people too. Groups are a maximum of 11 people and the smaller group made it more fun. Thanks Chris!

Great tour, great food, beautiful city. - This was a great tour. Karl was an engaging guide who taught us a lot about the history of Valletta and Malta whilst helping us to sample some great food. The meeting place was easy to find and convenient for parking near the MCP car park. The tour was well paced and you had enough to eat and drink but not too much. We were delighted when it started with savoury pastries as we had skipped breakfast in anticipation. Really recommend.

Don’t eat before you go on this tour - This was an incredibly filling food tour! We shouldn’t have eaten such a big breakfast beforehand. We were expecting sample-sized tasters, not the actual full-sized items! By the last stop, there was quite a bit of leftover tuna ptira as our group was all very full, but you can ask the restaurant to doggy bag it. Our guide Carl was lovely, a fantastic storyteller and looked after our group very well (as it was over 30°C that day and he always made sure to find shaded spots when we stopped, making sure everyone was okay). The stop at the gardens to see the cannons was well-timed but it would have been nice to have an extra 15min there (to account for queueing for facilities and buy water). We even revisited some of the spots after the tour ended to purchase items (i highly recommend the Maltese coffee). Wear loose or elasticated pants when you go because you will be eating lots :)
