Highlights
  • Stanley Park - Begin the day with a hotel pickup in a comfortable minibus/SUV. The group will drive through Stanley Park, which is a 405-hectare public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. The park has a long history and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city.
  • Lions Gate Bridge - The group will drive over a prominent Vancouver landmark, the Lion’s Gate Bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, English Bay, and beyond.
  • Capilano Suspension Bridge Park - Next, head over to a world-famous foot bridge, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the surrounding temperate rainforest and to learn the traditions of the Coast Salish indigenous people. Then the group will be guided across the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river. Climb onto the canopy and walk through the Treetop Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below.

For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the ‘Cliffwalk’, the newest attraction at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey travels through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face to give the group access to unexplored territories of the park.

  • Grouse Mountain - Rising 1,250 metres (4,100 feet) above Vancouver and just 15 minutes from the city’s downtown core, is the vast alpine playground of Grouse Mountain. The iconic Red Skyride gives visitors and locals alike the opportunity to see the jaw-dropping majestic nature of B.C. unfold in front of them during the 8 minute ride from the Valley Station to the summit. As Vancouver’s most popular attraction, Grouse Mountain is the only truly four-season destination in the lower mainland and features a wildlife refuge, vast selection of dining options, thrilling outdoor adventure, in the summertime, walk along the mountain top meadows and witness the world-famous Lumberjack show. Visit Grinder and Coola, two resident grizzly bears and enjoy a ‘Birds in Motion’ demonstration at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife. Attend a movie at the ‘Theatre in the Sky’ before heading back. The best in local snow sports…and much more. One thing is for certain: there is no place quite like the Peak of Vancouver.

Great guide and great tour - Eric was a great guide! The weather was a little uncooperative, but he rearranged the itinerary to accommodate and we got to see everything we wanted. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. He even gave us great recommendations for other places to go while in Vancouver. We also loved the Capilano bridge experience. It’s a must see!

Amazing experience! - Erick was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic! We had the pleasure of being the only ones to sign up for this tour that day. Grouse Mountain was our first stop. Erick walked around with us pointing out areas of what interest to explore. We had a great conversation. After a coffee to warm up we came down the mountain and went to the suspension bridge where we explored on our own. The suspension bridge and the walk through the tree tops were incredible sights to see! Erick gave us great insight about the city and places to visit during our stay. Highly recommended, both tour and guide!

Awesome Experience, Great Guide - This was an opportunity to see a couple of destinations that we had planned to see, but not how we would see them. As this was a special holiday, it was felt for this occasion a private tour would be a way of marking our holiday. Erick our guide was brilliant from the point of introduction outside our hotel. His knowledge and sharing of information was insightful and helped us to appreciate more of where we are in the world, city of Vancouver and the sites we were visiting. Did you know, Canada as a name was born out of the First Nations word for village ‘Kanata’ and British Columbia became part of Canada because a train line was built from East coast to West coast allowing trade to England from the pacific to arrive quicker without all ships travelling all the way down past South America before reaching England. It was little insights such as this, along with his charm and wit that made the day special. Highly recommend a private tour with Vancity and Erick
