Highlights
  • Main Street Brewery - We start with unique access to a historic building and local brewery to see, smell, taste and learn the basics of 4 seemingly simple ingredients that create over 100+ distinct styles of beer in the world. We’ll enjoy 4 craft beer samples, one is a similar recipe to what beer tasted like centuries ago.
  • Mount Pleasant - As we enjoy a light walk through ‘Brewery Creek’, we’ll visit 3 very different breweries in the neighbourhood, we’ll dive into how the craft beer subculture was recently revived and why it’s quickly gaining in popularity. Our beer tastings will include stories of popular American craft beers styles of today - many of the beers we taste are small batch, meaning they’re only available in the local breweries we visit. No doubt we’ll likely get into some healthy banter over which ones are the best.

Whether you’re brand new craft beer or a veteran, you’re sure to enjoy these very local and very tasty alcoholic beverages and meeting the people who make it.

  • R&B Ale & Pizza House - Visit one of Vancouver’s original microbreweries. These folks are the grandaddies in the neighbourhood, brewing high quality, hand-crafted ales and lagers since 1997.
  • Faculty Brewing Co. - Faculty Brewing Co. is an open-source, green-practice driven, friendly and inclusive craft brewery in Vancouver. Transgender safe space LGBQ-friendly.

I really recommand this tour - Chad was very friendly and passionate, you'll learn a lot with him. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it's less expansive than the other options but as great if not better than them. We had a really great time overall.

Highly recommend for local beer drinkers - Some friends and I joined Chad for the tasting tour for a bachelor party last weekend. It was an awesome experience. Chad is very knowledgeable about the history of Brewery Creek, the brewing process, and of course, the beers! The flights he provided were customized to our group's pallet and preferences. We all found a beer (or many) we enjoyed and had a good time. The walk between breweries isn't bad - even in the rain. I recommend the Craft Beer Revolution Tour even for those Vancouverites who have been to these breweries before as you can actually learn about their flavour profile and pairings. Chad is social and welcoming to questions as well. Overall great experience.

Beers and Laughs - We had a wonderful afternoon with Chad and the group of "strangers" that quickly became friends. Chad was pleasant , informative and funny. He answered all the questions, provided great beer knowledge and made everyone feel at home. I really appreciated the local vibe of the pubs and the homey feeling in each place. I strongly recommend this tour and hope to do it again in the future!

Hops and Laughter - Our guide, Chad? I never totally caught his name cuz it was very loud, was super fun, informative and a joy to hang around for a few hours. Being able to get a "feel" of the local scene made it much more personable and memorable. Our group by the end of the tour, felt as if we were lifelong friends. A great afternoon, one in which I would do again.

He knows the places we went to very well. Side tour would be Chad talking about building art while walking from one brewery to another

Must do - Great tour. We very much enjoyed the friendliness of Chad, our tour guide, and his knowledge of the area and of the craft beer movement of Vancouver. It was also a great opportunity to visit the off track neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant with the insights of a local. Would warmly recommend the tour.
