Good Hindi teaching - Deepankar is a really good teacher with who to learn Hindi. He make me understand and learn in an easy way so I was able to speak Hindi properly and share with people around in markets or other life's situations. He also do on-line lessons which is really nice when you are far away and keep progressing. Namaste

Wonderful Hindi teacher through Skype - I took Hindi lessons with Deepankar through Skype many years ago and was able to get by very well in Hindi when I had the chance to visit India. Unfortunately we lost touch and life became busy and I stopped taking lessons. When the Pandemic hit I and I had more time on my hands I reached out to Deepankar and resumed my classes. What a wonderful decision. Deepankar is an excellent teacher. He is able to teach conversational Hindi and is an excellent teacher of grammatical structure. I am very pleased to be able to learn with someone who has a strong mastery of the HIndi language and also of the English langauge. Taking classes through skype will be a great way for me to learn before I visit India again.

Best Hindi instructor - I don't normally write reviews, but I am compelled to write a review in this case. Mr Deepankar comes across as a very nice and genuine person. His teaching makes Hindi a lot easier. I spent a little time beforehand listening to conversations and after a few lessons he made Hindi a lot clearer. I've now had some face-to-face and online lessons. I look forward to continuing as he makes learning easier. As they say in India cheap and best. Definitely would recommend. I wish him many customers. If you have any interest in learning Hindi then you can not go wrong by taking lessons with him.

Excellent Hindi Lessons ! - Deepankar is a wonderful Hindi instructor that not only will teach conversational Hindi but can take you to the depths of this beautiful language through his talent as a poet and writer. My experience with him was wholesome as he has so much to share about the Varanasi Indian culture as well. This is what makes an amazing language instructor is the capacity to teach not only about the language(Hindi) but also everything that goes with it through the heart that is the basis of human interaction and which allows us the connection through language. I highly recommend you take lessons with him as I have had many language teachers in my life and Deepankar as an outstanding teacher. Fun and informative - Deepankar was very informative and very thorough. He made sure what he taught stuck with me by continual quizzing. I’ve learned a lot and plan to continue with his lessons during my stay.

An excellent Hindi instructor - Deepankar was a great Hindi instructor! I went in with very little knowledge of the language and he did an excellent job and breaking it down for me in a way that was easy to understand. You can tell he takes this job very seriously and wants his students to truly learn. He was very patient and made me feel very comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend taking a lesson with him if you are in Varanasi.

Beyond expectation - To Travel is to live, and life is for learning! I literally learned 10 important Hindu phrases in one hour for a very small price to pay not only for a very professional teacher but kind intelligent man. More than a Hindi lesson it’s A cultural tour in the comfort of your hotel lobby or wherever you wish to meet him. I am American and know only English , this man will have you easily saying hello goodbye how much thank you excuse me you look like Bollywood star ;) and more! Hands-on Hindi learning with knowledgeable teacher - I want to stay in India for a while so I took regular lessons with Deepankar Battacharya for almost one year and I can now get by in Varanasi quite well! His lessons are hands-on, he is a poet as well as a teacher and knows the religion and culture very well so it was nice to share not only Hindi but also to have nice discussions. Nice person, excellent teacher and very flexible as he can teach at one's house or hotel. Really recommend Deepankar, you will not regret it! MARIA

Learning hindi! :) - I was in Varanasi volunteering for 4 motnhs. I decided to take hindi lessons and It was such a great decision! I highly recommend to take hindi lessons to be more integrated and also because the people was extremely grateful with me when i could speak some hindi words. Deepankar taught me in those 4 months all the basics and also all the different verbal times (presente, past, future...). I didnt think i would learn all that much!! Mateo

One of the greatest - In order to grasp a language, you have to have a teacher who enjoys what he does. Mr Deepankar truly does. From covering the basics of what you'll need in order to navigate day to day conversations. To infusing the culture so that you get a deeper understanding beyond just what to say. He teaches you how to say things and why things are said in the manner that they are so that you are able to truly grasp the language. In turn I find it's been a faster and easier way of learning Hindi. I highly recommend Mr.Deepankar and suggest you look no further.
