Absolutely wonderful experience - My family and I enjoyed our tour immensely. Vinay was very patient with our kids and extremely knowledgeable. We are very happy to have booked his tour and considering how chaotic Varanasi is we would have been lost without him. He took us to some amazing sites and explained in detail about each one and the tour ended with the best seats to view both the nightly Pujas on the river. It was an incredible experience for all of us and we highly recommend Vinay as a tour guide.

Nice tour - We enjoyed the tour with Vinay! Overall, the tour was good, but there were a few disappointments. Be aware that you will need to pay extra at the temple for offerings. The priest told us we hadn’t given enough money despite buying a basket with flowers to donate. Visiting the aromatherapist was nice, though it felt like there was some pressure to make a purchase. We could had a lovely view from the top of a mosque, but there was an additional charge for that too. Vinay also suggested to go to a silk factory/market where we could buy things, but we skipped this as it was already late and the tour actually finished. We have been on tours before where such expenses were included, so this one didn’t quite meet our expectations. Vinay took us to beautiful temples and small alleys and shared his extensive knowledge of Hinduism and Varanasi. The boat tour was also enjoyable. However, Vinay could add a bit more enthusiasm to engage tourists better. We would still recommend him, thank you Vinay for the great afternoon.

Worst tour ever - We had the worst experience. Vinay pick up us in our hostel and didnt said a word in 20 minutes, then left us alone in the ceremony ( only explanation was: this is a ceremony), and then we went on a public boat that was crowded. He was so serious and vibes were not good. Then we were going through a very crowded street and he started walking so fast, I fell on the street and he didnt even notice... At this point we said here that 1) we were not feeling good, bf had stomach issues and 2) we were not happy at all about how things were going and wanted to stop the tour. We also asked for a refund, or at least only pay for the boat ( he really didnt explain nothing at all ) and he got SO angry, being extremelly rude. We were traveling for a month in india and never have a bad experience like this, he left me crying. I would not recommend, there are so incredible and welcoming people in this country to discover, dont waste your time, especially because it is not worthy but super overpriced as well.
