First or last day, do it - All started at 5.15. We arrived a little bit early but Sonu was already there waiting for us to share a Masala Tea. Sony is great. He clearly knows a lot about the city, not only he answered all our questions but he also did are more to the list. About the tour, whether it is your first or last day try to do it. Watching the city come alive (if one can say so) is a memory you will never forget.

Emotional sunrise tour boat - I had the boat tour during sunrise to enjoy the city with the light from another perspective. Before starting we had a delicious chai and Sonu started explaining me a lot about the history of the city with many details, he’s prepared and ready to answer all doubts and questions, he’s very kind and he loves guiding with fun and jokes also. I highly appreciated the experience and I’ll recommend to do it with him. Thanks Sonu!

Very informative - We had a really good time despite the fact we were really late (our fault for underestimating the traffic in the early evening). The tour guide really knows his stuff. We enjoyed his Frank and honest answers. We learned a lot. Make sure to put on plenty of insect repellent!!!

Rising sun over the Ganges - Today we had an amazing boat tour with Sonu. His boat is without engine, which made it more peaceful and slower, so we can enjoy every moments of the Ghats which are already full of life. Sonu show us the riverside palaces, telling their history and importance. We got a deep explanation about the Ganga river, the mythology of her born, and her importance in the Hindu religion. On the way we stopped to see the Brahman school little students sunrise yoga and meditation practice, and the cremation rituals at the Manikarnika Ghat. I really enjoyed the tour and can highly recommend Sonu s tours and his Marigold Homestay, near the Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Absolutely recommended tour. - I did the sunrise boat tour and it was a beautiful, exciting and intense experience with a rowing boat... in the silence and sacredness of mother Ganga. Sonu was very good and professional in telling the story of the various ghats but not only that.... he answered all our questions and curiosities by telling us about their traditions and their culture and also talking to us about their daily life. Sonu is a highly trained and very kind guide, discreet and with many interesting facts and anecdotes about Indian culture. Absolutely recommended tour.
