History of venice - It did what it says, skip the line tickets, collection from Venice Tours, perfect, very helpful and pleasant assistant. A great guide book about Venice, and the area. We skipped all queues and had a comfortable ramble around the Doges Palace in our time. You could purchase an audible guide, but we decided to read the boards. An extra bonus was the Museum of Correro, very interesting and lots to see. And an extra extra bonus was a VR experience, tour through the history of Venice, light and interesting.

The new gondola museum is recommended for the virtual tour - The girls from Venice Tours did an excellent and professional job, especially Angelica Boris and Aurora, since we had a bad experience with a tour to St. Mark's Basilica with getyorguide and they tried to solve everything they could, inviting us to visit the museum of the Gondola, by the way highly recommended for the immersive virtual experience that takes you to ancient Venice.

Doge's Palace Sort Of Skip-The-Line Self-Guided Tour - Price of €25 fit this self guided tour. The Doge's Palace was fascinating and a definite must-see. I recommend getting the audio tour, which is an additional fee. You still have to wait in line. The company that provided the tickets wasn't well organized, so I had to figure it out on my own. Also, as many others have commented, the staff at the Doge's Palace (separate from the ticket seller) was extremely rude.

Fantastic - The experience was wonderful but it was extremely hard to find the newstand to pick up the ticket. When I did find the stand it had no obvious signage to show it wad the right place. A little map to show the location would help a lot

Attention: Tickets must be picked up elsewhere - It's a bit of a hassle that you have to get the tickets somewhere else. It's very tedious because it's not clearly described where exactly it is. The museum itself is a "must see"

Not a Tour - simply a ticket to get in. - I was very unhappy with this tour. First off, this is a skip the line ticket and not a tour, so it is partially my fault that I didn't read the description appropriately. I had a hard time finding where to get the ticket and it was NEXT to the place mentioned in the instructions. The lady gave me the tickets and told me "door 1". We did eventually find door 1 but in total, we asked 3 separate people to find out how to get our tickets and figure out where we were going. The guidebook isn't really about the palace but rather is a book about Venice. I have no idea what VR experience means, I did call the tour office to ask about this as I saw people listening to something on their phone, but the tour office had no idea what VR experience was either, so I'm not sure about that or why it's listed in this "tour". Anyhow, giving a two star because I prefer a tour to hit highlights and not read a bunch of signs which we had to do to understand what each room was about. The writing is also VERY SMALL, I'm in my 50s and do wear readers (but not a large prescription) and I had a hard time reading the boards that explained everything. I use TRIPADVISOR all the time to book tours and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I did ask for my money back or to rebook something else (even at higher cost) once I realized that this wasn't the experience I wanted but was told no.

Attention. Once you have received your tickets, you will find a paper guide in a small booklet with 3 or 4 pages dedicated to the palace. Audio guides are paid separately - Remember to check for an audio guide. The paper guide and a booklet on Venice with some pages on the Doge's Palace.

Due to error and complexity in contacting human beings, I lost my tour and my money - I would have wanted to go, but I made the reservation on April 14 and the visit was on April 15, I wanted to do it for May 15, but I put the wrong date, we were in Mexico, I realized immediately, aware of the time difference I tried to locate them via Tripadvisor, Viator and Vence Tours, searching their pages for help, an email, WhatsApp, a telephone number and the only telephone number I found was Venice Tours, a recorder in Italian!!! (I am 73 years old, very clumsy for these things), Then the same 14 send an email to: marketing@venicecitytours.it from which to date I have not had a response!!!, explaining the situation/the error and asking them please and if it was possible to They recognized the payment as already made and moved the tour to May 15 (we will also be on the 16th). Today I forwarded the same email to Venice Tours, and I found on their Tripadvisor page a telephone number from Spain that I will call tomorrow as a last attempt (+34 911776743) I hope my message is useful to you
