Two hours well spent! - We did the Hidden Venice walking tour with Laura yesterday, and can really recommend it. Very informative, and we came away feeling we really got to know the ‘real’ Venice a bit better away from the crowds. Tipped in cash at the end so no issue with card transactions. Well done Laura! Informative and enjoyable - We all thought this was great! We learned so much and wandered around parts of the city that we otherwise would not have. Our guide was friendly and super knowledgable. I would recommend doing this to get a good knowledge base for your explorations of Venice. Our guides restaurant recommendations were also great. :)

A fun way to discover some of the history of Venice - We really enjoyed this tour. Enrico was knowledgeable and entertaining. ( and his English was excellent. ) it was really enjoyable wandering around the quieter parts of Venice and discovering so many interesting facts and a great deal of trivia about the history of the city. A great way to spend our first morning in this beautiful city. Really excellent value for money. If you try it I’m sure you would enjoy it.

Walking tour - We’d decided to venture outside the normal tourist spots and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, interesting and open to answering our frequent questions. The tour was just about the right length of time and at the end we were filled with new stories and adventures. Would thoroughly recommend.

different - We did this walking tour to see parts of Venice that we may not have seen before. The tour was interesting but it was supposed to be English speaking only. Our tour guide Valentina was okay but she didn't seem real in enthusiastic about it. She did point out how the garbage was emptied in Venice. When we were doing the virtual reality part of it we weren't allowed to finish watching it.

Disappointed, not what I had hoped for. - We were at the designated location prior to the meeting time, not at all obvious where to go. Finally went to a "tour" booth and they were confused as well. The guy there called someone and then took us to where this group was already at. The only reason we signed up was to see the spiral staircase at the Palace featured on the add, hoping to experience the view from the top. Unfortunately the tour does not go up the staircase only looks at it. Nice local tour guide, although hard to understand at times.

Quite good but a tad disappointing - The disappointment came from two things: the guide was a bit dull and we thought the tour included the opportunity to climb the Scala Contarini which it didn't - although the tour passed the tower. We left the tour at that point and bought our tickets for the Scala, which was well worth it.

Lazy communication leads to massive confusion - They do not tell you which vaporetto stop or give helpful information. It took us over 1 hr to travel from within city and missed tour. It is so lazy to not give the simplest help such as this and would have made a huge difference. One of our party became ill while travelling to the church. Just terrible. Would not recommend
