A quieter side of Venice - Adair was great. I have been to Venice a few times, so it was nice to see a part I have not been to before. Adair shared a lot of history and interesting stories on this quieter side of Venice. She showed me places and things I would never have found without her.

A great addition to your general highlights tours. - Wonderful, personalized tour through magical backroads and one of the few parks of Venice, and other areas that you may otherwise never see. Ask passionate and kind Tommaso what you would like to see and he will make it happen for you! A great addition to your general highlights tours.

Venice Biennale Collateral Venue Tour with Lucia - Our entire group were enthralled with Lucia’’s Venice biennale Collateral art venue tour! She set the stage with some important historical facts and encouraged us to see the Accademia artworks to provide a basis for the contemporary art we were about to see. We were taken to off the track places providing a range of different Biennale artworks and also venues that were special in their own right. Favourites were the art school installation and the Nigerian Pavilion. Lucia gave us some tips of venues to see beyond the tour. Lucia gave a tour from an authentically Venetian perspective and her love for the city shone through. We could not recommend her more highly!

A brilliant experience - Valentina provided us with a top-class experience in our personalised tour of the area of Venice in which we stayed. She took the time to discover our interests and tailored the tour accordingly. It was more like a stroll around the area with a very knowledgeable friend than a guided tour. It was an afternoon really well spent and set us up nicely for the remainder of our stay. Valentina is warm and friendly. After we finished, Valentina sent us some recommendations for places to eat in Venice and Treviso (which were visiting a few days later) as well as tips for getting around both cities. A really worthwhile experience with a wonderful, friendly and informative guide.

Private guide worth every cent - Giada was, friendly, professional and passionate. She guided us through part of Venice we had not seen before. Her explanations were concise, thorough and clear. This was by far the best guide we ever met in Venice, a real treasure.

You have to see Venice with the local - We followed the route based on the places we wanted to see, but we would have never seen the charming and beautiful Venice side that we saw with Loris. We managed to escape to the areas where we met fewer tourists and it was not crowded. It was beautiful and peaceful. We regret that we did not have the tour the first day we arrived, because we got so many recommendations and too little time to use them. Thank you, Loris, for the tour and interesting stories about this beautiful city. And also, we appreciate that you were so flexible and changed the route on the spot according to our request.

Unique Tour of Dorsoduro - Experiencing Dorsoduro with Claudia was a unique experience. It was just the right mix of interesting facts, personal insights and hidden secrets that couldn't be found any other way. I really enjoyed exploring this beautiful part of the city with her and I can't think of anything I wished were different about this tour. With her friendly and warm manner, Claudia left an unforgettable impression. She then also provided a list of recommendations for other attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience in Venice.

The Only Wat To See Venezia Is By Boat! - Niccolò contacted me after I booked the tour and asked if we would like to do the walking tour or if we would like him to drive us around and see Venice on his boat. We are definitely glad we made the choice to go on the water – it is the only way to see all of Venice and understand where everything is in an abbreviated amount of time. Unfortunately, for us, it was a cold, windy, rainy day. The weather was not terrible, but that didn’t stop Niccolò. He took us everywhere. You could want to go in Venice, pointed out the major highlights. He wasn’t as talkative as some of the other guides, we have had through Withlocals, but anytime we asked a question. He certainly knew the answers. I think the weather really put a damper on everything. We ended our tour early by our request because we were soaked and freezing, and we skipped the local treat for the same reason, but we don’t feel like we missed out on anything. The only recommendation I can make to Niccolò is to get a cushion for the seat on the boat for the guests. It was a great tour and we recommend it highly.
