Must visit and Emma is the best! - We were fortunate to be greeted at Marco Polo by Emma who got us through our transfers all the way to the hotel. After touring Venice, we contacted Emma for a tour of the Glass Factory in Murano and then Burano. What an excellent way to spend the afternoon. The glass was remarkably and Burano extremely unique. Highly recommend this tour and having Emma take you there. You will feel like a family member is showing you around

Great experience - Disclaimer. We were short on time, so used this company for transport to Murano & Burano. Emma & Ferederico were amazing. Their English was great, received a little history of the area. Only thing is if you want to go to multiple factories or shops, then go on your own. This tour goes to only one proprietor. Would highly recommend.

Not as advertised - Our guide, Lorenzo, accompanied us well for this tour, providing accurate and to-the-point explanations. Pick-up was fine, as was the trip to Murano. Of course, you expect a mercantile operation from the glass factory you visit. Little did we know in advance that we depended on them to organise the rest of the journey to Burano and the return to Venezia. They probably expect you to spend by the thousands instead of the hundreds we spent, because for the rest of the journey we had to wait for other people to be taxied to Burano, although we paid for private transportation. The Burano visit was pleasant because the island is. We had a nice drink with Lorenzo but had to wait again for the boat to bring us back to the main island. Don't expect always to have a hotel drop-off because the water taxi booked for the tour is not licensed to go beyond San Marco. The experience is interesting because both master glass blowers and lace makers are professions that do not attract young people, they are disappearing and might be gone by the next generation. It nevertheless leaves an impression of not having received full value for your money.
