- Campiello del Spezier - Together, we’ll select fish, vegetables, and meat. We’ll craft a menu and prepare everything in a fully-equipped kitchen. I’ll guide you through making traditional Venetian dishes, cichetti, and various cooking techniques (like risotto and pasta), as well as marinades. We’ll enjoy our creations with a glass of wine.

Secrets of Venetian cuisine. - Our cooking class with Marco in his Osteria was a wonderful experience. We felt at home with him from the very first moment. First we went with him to the market in Venice to choose the ingredients for our cooking class. Then we learned some secrets of Venetian cuisine in his Osteria.
An event that we will never forget... and it tasted great!

A great Venetian cooking and eating experience. - We absolutely loved this experience. Our host, Marco, gave us an informative and fun tour of the Rialto Market as we selected the fish and vegetables that we were to cook that day. He was obviously a regular patron of this area as he was greeted by many of the vendors and other customers. We then moved on to his Osteria where Marco demonstrated and had us participate in the preparation of several appetizers, a main dish and a desert. This was a real cooking class where we actually learned some useful techniques and methods that we will bring home with us. Marco was a joy to spend time with and his passion for both cooking and Venice itself were clearly evident. We finished by eating a fabulous meal and even took home some leftovers as it was more than we could finish. We spent over 5 hours and had a great time. We highly recommend this tour.
