Highlights
  • Basilica di San Marco - We provide the skip the line tickets, so walk right past the long queue and go right on inside. During November through March, St. Mark’s Basilica does not offer skip the line entry because lines are generally non-existent.
  • Doge’s Palace - As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You’ll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.
  • Venice - Time to Board your Gondola! After your visit to St Marks and the Doges Palace conclude, it’s time to partake in that quintessential Venice activity. That’s right, step right up to your gondola boat! Left in the care of a trusted gondolier, enjoy the beauty of Venice from the water. Fun fact: in the Venetian dialect, “gondolier” translates into “rowing master”.
  • Murano - Dive into the age old craft of Glass Blowing on one of Venice’s most famous islands! Accompanied by your guide you will enjoy a glass blowing demonstration learning all the ins and outs of this old Italian craft
  • Burano - Make your way through Burano’s cosy streets on Venice’s most colourful islands - known to be a true insta-paradise. Here we head to a lace making workshop where you’ll witness a lace making demonstration by locals with an impeccable eye for detail!

Enjoyable tour - This was the 1st event of our European tour. Our guide, Kristina, made it easy and convenient for us tp adopt because she was very articulate and clear with her instructions, very considerate, and patient. She was very knowledgeable about the historic backdrop of each place we visited and patiently answered all our questions. Check the weather forecast for rain and come prepared with your rain jacket or umbrella.

Great tour for a short trip - Barbara was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Flavia was also lovely and was our guide to Murano and Burano. Prices for Murano at the factory were ridiculous though. $250 for one glass?? I don’t think so…

Great when you only have 1 day in Venice. - Christina was our guide to the islands and she was great! Lots of fun history and information. The gondola ride was longer than we thought it would be.

Would recommend! - Very informative and fun tour. Our guide Nico was amazing! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He’s a history major - with a specific focus of Venice - and is also from the area, so he made it an overall great experience! Lots of neat information about Venice, both popular sites and the good local sites. Gondala ride is a must do in Venice.

Interesting history and sights - Tour guides Daria and Roberta (Robbie) were very knowledgeable about the surrounds, attractions and history. They were able to answer questions and point to interests. The Murano glass is stunning and the Burano lace making was sad (“a dying art”). St Marks and Doges Palace were fascinating to learn about and see the living conditions and behaviors (snitch box!). The gondola ride felt like the Small World boat Disney attraction. The trip confirmation did not prepare me for this being three tours paid for as one. The morning guide had no idea that there is an afternoon portion nor what I should do. The afternoon tour guide took us to the next guide who took us to the gondola. Communication and preparation could have been better. Venice overall reminds me of New Orleans with richer history and smells about the same.

Outstanding tour! - This tour lasted all day, being split Saint Marks and Dosa Palace And gondola ride in the morning And the trip to Murano and Burano in the afternoon. Both tour guides were fantastic! We had Marco in the morning and Alessandra in the afternoon. I highly recommend this tour! Based on the time of day, skipping the line is the only way to go.

The two islands are worth visiting but there better Palaces and churches. - The visit to the Murano Glass factory was well worthwhile. The Master who demonstrated the glassblowing was amazing. He made a rearing horse in just over a minute and made it look so easy.

Tour guide doesn’t speak English - Guide did not speak English well. Could not understand a word he said. What a waste of money. We could have taken the tour ourselves for less money
