Dive headfirst into the richness of Italian culinary traditions with our intricate cooking class - a session that is both enlightening and enjoyable. Hosted by a skilled Italian homemaker, you’ll unlock the culinary mysteries of Bologna’s famous dishes and relish the results of your endeavour over lunch or dinner, with local wines complementing your meal.
You’ll be provided with a kitchen workstation fully ready with cooking utensils and necessary ingredients. Your host will let you in on the culinary secrets behind three quintessential Bologna dishes - an appetizer, fresh pasta and a dessert, recipes that have been passed down through generations of Italian mothers and grandmothers. Once the cooking is done, you’ll join your Italian ‘family’ at the table to savour the dishes accompanied by a variety of local wines.
This extraordinary experience is brought to you by Cesarine, the oldest network of home cooks and wine connoisseurs in Italy. These friendly and passionate Cesarines welcome wanderlust travellers into their homes for a comprehensive gastronomic journey. A wonderful experience eating delicious food and making a new friend - We did the cooking experience with Giulia. The entire experience was lovely. She was warm and friendly. We tried the Cynar aperitivo with the delicious starter plates. We helped make the ravioli and for dessert we had delicious tiramisu. We also had corn biscuit cookies were different and yummy. We enjoyed Giulia’s stories, admired her beautifully decorated apartment and left feeling like we had made a new friend for life. We would definitely want to share another experience with her when we return to Venice.

A Fine Dining Experience in Venice - Giulia was an excellent host for her Venetian dining experience. The food was delicious, and Giulia was very informative and entertaining. Her home was warm and welcoming. We would recommend to any that are looking to experience a truly authentic meal in Venice.

Best gluten free cooking class ever!!! - Ok…disclaimer super picky eaters and gluten free eaters here!! Yet Mrs Rosa knocked it out of the ball field as we say in the states!!! This class was amazing. We were looking for a class that we could actually learn something that we could take home with us and do on a weekly basis, simply ingredients , easy to make but taste amazing and we absolutely got this from Rosa. My husband and I have Celiacs and it is hard to find good pizza or pasta options well look no further because Rosa made the best GF pasta and Pizza that we have EVER had!!!!! She was super concerned about everything being separate from the traditional doughs that were also being made. Dessert was outstanding!! However, the best part is that we entered her home as strangers and left as family. Rosa and her daughter Angela were absolutely amazing and we will treasure this experience forever!!!! Don’t pass on this one!!!

Cooking with Guilia - 5 of us had the unique experience making 2 pastas & tiramisu with the “sparkly” Cessarine Guila. She was an amazing instructor for 5 novices! Her organization, instructions, cooking skills made it a perfect class. Enjoying our finished products with an added toast of local Prosecco completed our day! Thank you Guilia! If we could give you 10 stars we would! ❤️ 🍷

Rossa was absolutely... - Rossa was absolutely amazing - what a great experience! We learned so much about the history/origin of the Italian dishes while we made them. So fun and VERY filling!

Enjoyable and a unique experience - Super fun and enjoyable. Nadine was a passionate teacher and very organized. The class was memorable and a great learning experience. We did this as a group of 7 and we would all highly recommend.

Great cooking experience! - Our dinner experience was with Anna in Venice. Anna was a great instructor on our 3 course meal (plus appetizer!). Her home had a beautiful atmosphere and we learned lots about Venetian cooking.

Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class - Venice Highlight! - I had a delightful experience with Danielle (Daniela) V. at her comfortable teaching kitchen in the Cannaregio district of Venice. I learned how to make pasta (fettucine and farfalle) from scratch and also tiramisu. She also showed me how to make two pasta sauces, an asparagus pesto and a zucchini/tomato sauce. Daniela is a nutritionist, as well as a cooking instructor, and she emphasizes cooking with healthy eating in mind. Daniela was an excellent and patient teacher. She had an interpreter (a very pleasant graduate student) present to assist with English translation. Her kitchen is well equipped and she was well prepared for the class. She provided copies of the recipes to take home. We completed the pasta dishes and tiramisu for lunch, with glasses of Prosecco. All the dishes were delicious! This class was a highlight of my three-day trip to Venice. I highly recommend taking a class with Daniela!

Cook like a Venetian! - Loved learning the “Venice” way to cook things. Made pasta from scratch and heavenly Tiramisu. Focus on healthy cooking with a first course of Vegan coleslaw and potato rolls. Loved the experience. Daniela was so kind and patient.
