Additional Information

On this journey, you will explore the primary islands of the lagoon with ample time at your fingertips. The journey begins at Piers 1, 2, and 3 in front of the Palazzo Cornoldi on Riva degli Schiavoni, 4142. Once aboard the vessel, we set sail for Murano, anchoring for one hour and 15 minutes. Here, you have the opportunity to explore one of the island’s glass factories and witness a demonstration by a skilled glassmaker. The second halt of this day exploration of the Venetian islands is Burano renowned for its vibrant houses. (approx 2 hour)
The final halt would be Torcello, the birthplace of the Venetian civilization (1 hour). While today Torcello is home to just above 10 inhabitants, its historical and artistic heritage make it a must-visit destination for globetrotters.
One final delight awaits, the return journey: as the boat cruises, soak in the captivating panorama of the Venetian lagoon.
The journey comes to a close where it began.

Worth it! - Wonderful! I would book again but would only choose 2 islands, Murano and Burano. Not much to see in Torcello.

Great day out - We thoroughly enjoyed our days boat trip to the Islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. All so beautiful. Murano with its stunning glass (I could of spent a fortune), Burano with its colourful buildings and s really laid back vibe. Then the calmness of Torcello, very pretty with a lovely church to visit. The tour was well organised, the meeting point was easy to find also. We had s lovely day.

Great Tour for a Very Nice Price! - I loved how relaxed and patient the greeter was. We tourists tend to be nervous about reservations, and the greeter just said stand here, we'll leave soon. The boats were all on time. The Murano leg of the trip included a glassblowing demo. They also take you through the giftshop, but there's no pressure to make a purchase. The Burano leg is just as friendly. The lace-making demo is optional, and don't try the Bussola, the traditional pastry/cookies of Burano because you won't stop eating them! Torcello is the last leg of the tour, and it's very relaxing, especially if you have kids. There's plenty of open spaces for them to play.

Pleasant tour after departure from Venice... - The tour went well, with an interesting demonstration of a master glassmaker in Murano and visit to the beautiful Burano; operator on board very clear and kind even if the audio on board was not the most desirable. Precise and timely departures. The only downside is that the yellow dot indicated at Reservation to check in did not exist. Fortunately by calling the number found on the Reservation the operator guided us to the exact point of embarkation. We had booked with dogedivenezia.it that moved away from the indicated pier, empty and at the scheduled time of our departure. When we were boarded on the pier next door instead of the one indicated to me, 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time and on a boat called PINK VENICE that had nothing to do with dogedivenezia.it, to my request if that was the right boat, I had an irritated and rude Response from an operator at the pier, really out of place in such a situation. Apart from this unpleasant episode (unique in our entire stay in Venice) the tour then turned out to be pleasant and with a good value for money.

Not long enough time - Informative glass factory tour in Murano, not enough time in Burano, waste of time in Torcello! Overall good day out!

A great taste of the islands. - The instructions to find the Piers were great and we had no trouble at all. Somebody was on the pier to meet people about half an hour before and we boarded about 10 minutes before. The boat was ok. Some of the chairs had broken seats and the toilet wasn't very clean. Fortunately the journeys between islands were only about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was brilliant and the time given for each island was perfect. We had plenty of time to explore Burano and our daughter was blown away by the glass demonstration in Murano. We could have perhaps had a bit longer in Torcello see the museum and other sites. Overall we really enjoyed the day and it was good value for money. Would recommend.

Noisy boat, useless guide - The schedules are well kept, the boats are very punctual, but the engines are so noisy that you hardly hear the comments... We pay for the excursion to benefit from the guide, instead of simply using the boats Public buses, But they do not give any information during the visits And they do not guide the excursions along the streets canals churches....

Very weather dependent - While the concept of this tour was excellent, the day I went fell far below my expectations. Firstly, and this is not the fault of the tour group, the weather was awful, and a lot of this tour happens outside, so it is worth checking the forecast before you book. Additionally, it was nearly impossible to understand the guides over the ship speakers, and that led to a lot of confusion for the group.
