This full day expedition is your ideal choice if you want to experience the highlights of Venice. For those who are in Venice for just a short period, smartly exploring the major attractions in a single day makes sense. This allows you to use the rest of your time appreciating Venice while enjoying Prosecco by its canals. Your journey will comprise stops at St Mark’s Basilica and Square, the Rialto Bridge, Doge’s Palace, inclusive of Casanova’s prison cell, and a 30-minute gondola ride. You’ll also discover plenty of unsung wonders along the route. We ensure a scheduled lunch break as part of the tour - in Italy, we would never keep you starved!

St. Mark's Square
Please Arrive 10 Minutes Early. Your guide will meet you between the two big columns in St. Mark’s Square (columns of San Marco & San Teodoro) located on the south side of the square, near the canal. A representative will be there holding a sign with ''The Tour Guy'' on it.

History of Venice tour - AMAZING - I loved this tour. The guide, Nico, was absolutely fabulous. He was engaging and entertaining and most important, extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much about Venice and her history. Absolutely fascinating. The art work in Doge’s Palace is stunning and Nico knew so much about everything. Worth every penny and I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour - Giovanna was a great guide - considerate and provided lots of background information. Perhaps a little rushed through Doges and the basilica (would love to have had more time in each) but we had a lot to fit into 6 hours!

Great food tour with Tone Dolgan - This food tour was great. Tone Dolgan, our tourist guide was friendly and he did not rush us in walking. We had some fun and our stomach was never empty. I ate food that I had not eaten before & it was a good experience. At the end of our walking tour, he helped us find our way back closed to our hotel even when it was raining. I strongly recommend this tour with Tone Dolgan as your guide.

Excellent, no doubt about it! - The tour was an excellent experience. We learned so much about Venice and St. Marks Basilica along with the history of Dodges Palace, our guide shared a lot of history, I just was so amazed at the beautiful church and prison. Wow…. Learned a lot. The Gondola ride was peaceful and was able to see things you couldn’t if you were walking. Worth it!

A memorable excursion - The tour of the palace and church are a must see. Our guide Julia was very pleasant and knowledgeable. You can learn so much about the history of both!

Our guide lost us at the beginning of the tour - Bad experience that our guide lost us at the beginning of the tour. We took some pictures. She was gone when we turned around. We couldn’t find her flag even we heard her from the radio. We wasted half of the day until we finally meet up with our group at noon.
