- Ghetto Venezia - The Venetian Jewish ghetto was established over 500 years ago, this city in the city has had a lasting cultural impact on Venetian language, cuisine, music and dance.
- Cannaregio - We will visit a traditional bakery and we will try some Biscotti Veneziani or jewish sweets.
The second stop is a Bacaro, small venetian wine bar, where we can try local wine and Cicchetti, Venetian small plates. Get the opportunity to try mouthwatering street food favorites like sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines) and creamy baccalà mantecato (whipped codfish).
- Ghetto Venezia - Explore more the jewish area and enjoy the beautiful corners, walk around for a true appreciation of the true essence of this enchanting neighborhood.

Cannaregio - Continue your bacaro tour with an other tastings in a good local wine bar for a spritz and some more cicchetti, they are so different and you could taste more samples of the huge variety of finger food in Venice, modern and regional products are waiting for you!
Of course you may know Aperol Spritz, but it is not the only one in Venice… ask your guide to suggest you more and find your local refreshing drink in this beautiful area of the city.

Limited to a maximum of 10 guests to ensure an intimate experience, there’ll be ample room for individual queries and for you to fully appreciate the event. As part of our 2-hour walking tour, savour Venice’s favourite aperitif pairing - spritz and cicchetti, a wine-infused cocktail served with bite-sized nibbles.

Learning about the real Venice and tasting some beautiful food along the way - Elena by far makes this tour. Her warmth and care for her guests likes and interests means the tour suits every person. She adapted the drink and food selections based on our preferences which meant everyone could enjoy it fully. I tried spritz I never would have without her guidance.
We loved hearing all the history of the Ghetto, understanding how many nationalities made their impression on the city, and seeing hidden secrets of the area.
It felt like an evening with a friend and making new friends along the way with our group, which was small with 7 people in total.
An amazing memory of a beautiful city at night.

A perfect Venetian evening - Our wonderful tour guide aleca (apologies if I misspelled) gave us an amazing history tour on top of the perfect chicchetti and gelato tastings! We went to two delicious chicchetti places, and the best gelato I’ve had in Italy yet! We were. Wry impressed with her knowledge, kindness, and enthusiasm for the tour. 10/10 would recommend this one! So worth it!

Hidden Gem of a Tour! - Our tour was fantastic! Our tour guide, Olympia, was great! It was really nice to see a less touristy area of Venice and the locations we went to had delicious food and drinks. If you are looking for a tour that is slightly off the beaten path, this is the tour for you!

more of a food and wine event - we knew the ghetto tour would be short because it was such a small area - we were also lucky to only be three people on the tour -so the tasting and food part of the experience with our guide Olympia was the bulk of the experience. Olympia was personal and lovely and gave us a lot of interesting information about Venice and Italy in general - you should ask for her !

Well worth it! - This was one of our favorite things to do in Venice. Elena was wonderful and engaging. She shared fascinating bits of history and personal anecdotes. We appreciated her explanation of Spritz. The drinks, food bites and gelato were all delicious and we left full.

Wonderful time with Alice! - Alice is the absolute best! She took us to great local spots. Local establishments that the true Venetian will eat, not just tourist hubs. She has great conversation and knowledge of Venezia from antiquity to the present.

Elena was the best guide! - Elena was amazing! She is super knowledgeable and engaging. And funny to boot! She was able to curate some wonderful stories and keep it light and serious when necessary. She pushed some of us to eat outside of our comfort zones and no one regretted it. I honestly can’t say enough about how great Elena was.

Excellent time! - May 2nd @ 6:30 we went on the Jewish Ghetto tour with Beni? Feel bad I can't recall her name. She was super knowledgeable and entertaining too. Learned a great deal about the history of the Jewish Ghetto as well as tasted many different local ordeirves and learned a bit about the drink Sprits as well! Over all great time!
Highly recommend it.
