These tours aim to transform your travel by focusing more on the interactions with the locals just as much as the sights you explore. Our city guides, or Lokafyers, are local enthusiasts eager to share their city insights and viewpoints. Lokafyers do not conduct professional tours frequently, they offer an experience that is unique and personal, very much like a friend taking you around their native city. By the conclusion of the tour, you’ll have gained enough confidence and information to easily navigate the city and ensure you have a fulfilling stay.
- Lokafy tours provide a general overview of the city with practical information from a local’s perspective, not detailed historical facts
- In case travellers would like to include a visit to an attraction, they would need to cover the cost of entrance for themselves and also the Lokafyer (local guide)
- Tours are entirely personalized, please provide the start time, meeting place and information about you so that we can organize the tour
- This is a walking tour. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Children below 3 years old are free of charge
- Children must be accompanied by an adult

Travelers can request the tour to start from any centrally located hotel. In case your hotel is outside the city center we will select a convenient meeting point in the city center.Tour may end at a different location from the departure point unless requested in advance of the tour.

A different view of Venice. - We asked our guide Blanca to show us Venice outside the touristy areas. She took over the Academia bridge to the university area and walked a much quieter and interesting part of Venice. Had a great opportunity to get away from the crowds and see another side of Venice.

Great walking tour of Venice - This was an amazing tour. We did 2 hours around Venice with Lydia. She was very informative and took us through many little hidden places, helped us taking pictures and gave us ideas of what to do in the next few days. She was really nice and sweet, texted me the next day to give me more information about an event in the city. 100% recommended.

Wonderful tour of Venice with local guide - What a wonderful experience we had with Maša as our guide. As a local, she was able to tell us about all the different areas in Venice and how people live - without just rattling off a bunch of facts. We had a lovely 4 hours and saw everything we hoped to. Even stopped for matzoh ball soup in the Jewish Ghetto! I highly recommend a local tour guide - Maša, specifically, if you are in Venice

Fun, interesting and very informative for the amount of time. Annalisa is a pleasure to tour with. - Annalisa, our tour guide took us to neighborhoods and sites that we will not be able to encounter on our own. We liked the fact that she brought us to the different quarters of Venice and not just the main attractions. My 11 yr old son was also engaged and learned from her. It was a memorable experience and very high yield for the 3 hours she toured us. I left Venice knowing the people more and cherishing being able to visit like a local.

Visit with nullissimo Arlequino... - We made a visit with a French speaker (level 0.5) who told us nonsense about Venice... Certainly through misunderstanding. We gave him the benefit of the doubt. Visit Venice with Google and a mini guide. It's much better! We paid €90 for nothing, that's equivalent to 90 cichettis on our stay! Agency to avoid. No tracking.
