Highlights
  • Doge’s Palace - The Doge’s Palace stands as a prominent landmark in Venice. While its origins trace back to the 9th century, the current structure is a 14th-century reconstruction following a devastating fire. This Gothic masterpiece changes the color of its marble facade based on the sunlight. Inside, you’ll be awestruck by stunning frescoes created by the Italian artist Tintoretto. Additionally, crossing the Bridge of Sighs leads to hidden prisons connected by secret passageways.
  • Basilica di San Marco - The San Marco Basilica is another grand Venetian landmark with magnificent architecture. Constructed in the 11th century, it beautifully blends Italo-Byzantine and Gothic styles. The domes’ Oriental design and golden accents, combined with Italian elements, give the church a unique character. It is truly one of a kind!

Best Tour Guides in Venice - I was thrilled with my tour and tour guide, Denise. It was like taking a walk around the city with a good friend who knew everything about the history, art, and details of Venice. And, who spoke English and was a brilliant communicator. The tour went beyond the basics and covered topics about living and working in Venice, restaurant recommendations, and other places to visit for the remainder of our trip. I was engaged for the entire duration of the tour. I wish I had Denise with me for my entire trip to explain the nuisance of the city and show me more. I highly recommend this company and Denise for any Venice tours.
