Highlights
  • Laguna di Venezia - Navigate through the Venetian Lagoon to reach the islands and enjoy the view!
  • Isola di Murano - The island of Murano is the first stop of this excursion: you will have a chance to enter a glass factory and see the masters working the glass as they have been doing for centuries and then visit the center of the island.
  • Isola di Burano - World Heritage Site - Second stop of this half day excursion is Burano, famous for the colorful fishermen’s houses and for the traditional handmade laces.
  • Isola Torcello - Torcello is the third and last stop of this tour. The island is the first to be inhabited in the Venetian lagoon and still shows the traces of its origins.
  • Chiesa di Santa Fosca - The church of Santa Fosca stands in the main square of Torcello and is a fine example of venetian-byzantine style.
  • Trono di Attila - In the middle of Torcello stands the ancient Attila’s throne.

Perfect excursion - Perfect excursion to experience the other islands, & famous craftsmanships. Spent just the right amount of time in each island to see the glass making, shop, get a snack, & see the brightly colored buildings & architecture. Highly recommend

Little island treasures - The glass shaping demonstration was incredible! The islands of Murano and Burano were very pretty with plenty of lovely photo opportunities.

Venice Islands Quick Cruise - This is a good tour with several quck stops and lots of time on the water. Due to poor speakers or microphone it was very difficult to hear the commentary. The stops were good but very little time for exploring each of the islands. Make sure you bring a snack as the islands are busy and no time for food stops during the tour.

Great Effective way to see 3 islands in 4 hours - Really liked the idea of seeing 3 islands in 4 hrs. The nice boat was changed to a very small boat after the first island and was hot. The itinerary said 50 min per island but we were given 40 min per each island. It’s was hard to understand the guide through speakerphone on the boat. Murano glass presentation felt very commercial and felt being pushed to buy something. Other than that I think it’s great if you don’t have a lot of time to do it on your own.

3 Island Tour is One Too Many - We thought Murano and Burano were wonderful. 50 minutes on each is not enough Skip Torcello, (there really is nothing to see there) and spend more time on the other islands.

Could maybe do on your own. - If you want to take a couple of boat rides for not a lot of money then this is the place at 27euro per ticket. The trip to Murano was to briefly watch a glass blower then go straight into the gift store. From what we could see there wasn’t much more to see anyway. The next stop to Torcello which I wish we could have skipped as there is nothing there. Lastly to Burano which was a quaint little town worth seeing. They could have had better instructions where to meet which otherwise was confusing. (Just go to ticket office - there is no guide checking you in. Guide meets you as you wait for boat). The guide used a PA system on the boat which was not really audible so if you wanted to learn about where you were going- forget it. But the ticket was inexpensive.

Torcello is 1 ⭐️ Murano is 2⭐️⭐️ Burano is 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. - I would have LOVED to give this a glowing review…at the first stop, Murano, we were required to attend a demonstration of glass blowing (worth seeing, but the tour in front of us was delayed so that are into our time) and that meant we only had about 20 min on the island. Next stop Torcello - skip it. Everything on this island requires a ticket and there isn’t enough time to experience the ticketed items and make it back to your bought on time. And the WCs were locked and closed. Burano was lovely. The lace shops are beautiful. The village is colorful. Worth visiting. My advice - skip the ‘tour’ and buy a water bus ticket to take yourself directly to Burano, so you can spend the day there.

Worst experience-They will leave you even if you are 1-2 minutes late - Everything was good untill they left us at the end of tour when leaving from Burano island. The tour guide asked us to meet at 5.20 PM and we reached there at 5.23 PM and they left us for their return journey . We were a couple with baby and I feel 5 minutes buffer time is really really normal. No one contacted us before leaving also. When we reached the meeting point at exactly 5.23 PM ,I saw our ferry already in the ocean on the way back. After that we have to pay additional 18 euros to get back from island. I will not recommend this to anyone and specifically anyone travelling with kids because they will not wait for you even for a minute. Please avoid this tour! Disappointed customer.
