A fun walk through Verona with a great guide and opportunity to try unusual delicious foods - We had very little time to spend in Verona, but I thought a food tour would be a fun and unique part of our trip to Italy and a great way to get to know this region. I was right! We had a wonderful young woman guide all to ourselves for a great afternoon. It was five of us in our group. We started at a small restaurant for appetizers, then she walked us about ten minutes to another place for a first course. Then another walk to a different restaurant for the second course. Followed by a final walk to a really authentic (non-touristy) gelato place. The walking through Verona was part of the fun. Our guide shared lots of info about food traditions that are unique to the city and region. We had the opportunity to try things we had never eaten before-including donkey meat (If no one had told me what it was I wouldn't have known-it was delicious!). Everyone in our group loved this experience and considered it a great highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Must do tour - The food, wine and guide were wonderful. It feels like you are meeting old friends. Emma, the guide, knows Verona as only a native can.

Verona - Great food—excellent guide. Really liked the small size of the group—it was just 2 of us and the guide. Loved that it was just 4 restaurant stops which gave us a full meal.

Great tour - Julia was a lovely and knowledgeable guide! She took us to four different spots in old town Verona. We all shared appetizers at the first stop and were able to order our own dish at the next three stops. It was more like a progressive dinner than a tasting tour. Julia made great suggestions about the local specialties. They were very accommodating to my friend who is a vegetarian.

Verona food tour - Giulia was our guide and we had a wonderful food tour in Verona. We stopped in 4 different spots around Verona and each place she recommended different options. We often decided to share so we could try more things. One friend was vegetarian and gluten free and Giulia was able to accommodate her. We ended with incredible desserts and coffee at a cute bakery. Giulia was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about Veronese food and Verona in general. I highly recommend it!

Food Walking Tour with Giulia in Verona - We had an amazing experience on the food walking tour with Giulia in Verona. She was not only knowledgeable but incredibly friendly, making the tour feel like a casual stroll with a local friend. Her passion for Verona’s food and culture really came through in the way she shared stories about the city and its culinary history. The food stops were fantastic—each place offered a unique taste of Verona, from delicious local delicacies to fresh pasta and pastries. Giulia made sure everything was perfectly paced, and there was plenty of time to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. What made the tour special was Giulia herself. She was easy to chat with, and her enthusiasm made the experience feel personal and fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Verona—great food, great company, and a wonderful way to see the city!

A Very Traditional Food Tour in Verona - The food tour my friends and I had with Emma was excellent. She was personable and friendly and pleasant to spend the tour with. We made four different stops that were all unique. What I will say that none of the reviews say is that you will be eating (or at least we did) donkey ragu and horse stew. If you do not wish to eat these, they do offer a vegetarian option but no other meat option. I will say the food was all excellent and I’m glad I ate because when in Verona.
