One of the best holiday experiences - Visiting the cheese factory with attached farm was one of the best holiday experiences. The location offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the Mediterranean Sea. The cheese factory impresses with its artisanal quality and exquisite taste. Of particular note are the fresh mozzarella and the aged pecorino. The farm that forms the basis for these products shows how sustainable practices and traditional methods are combined. The two Owners are exceptionally nice and make the visit an unforgettable experience through their warmth and expertise. Their hospitality and the opportunity to experience the production process up close make this place a must for every visitor. I can only highly recommend a visit and look forward to the next time.

A lovely creamery in the Sorrento area - This was a wonderful experience! Angela and Antonio have a beautiful family farm alongside the creamery. The creamery tour was very interesting and educational, and the tasting was magnificent.

MUST do! - My husband and I searched for a mozzarella making class to take near Sorrento and after coming across Caseificio Starace’s page, we knew we found the perfect class. Antonio, Angela and their family could not have been more welcoming as we were two honeymooners who booked the class last minute. My husband is an aspiring mozzarella maker looking for tips and to enhance his knowledge to continue our family’s lost tradition of mozzarella making. If I could give a higher rating, I would as we learned everything we needed and more to continue practicing at home. Angela speaks great English and was able to answer all of our questions. Although Antonio is certainly a master who was born into the craft, Angela serves as the backbone of the family and business. We took many photos, shared in the stretching and forming of the cheese, saw the many other forms of cheese made, visited the store and ended with a cheese tasting. The dynamic duo surprised us with a sweet toast with Prosecco to our honeymoon as a lovely surprise and we wound up hanging around later as we waited for our transportation. We continue to stay in touch with Antonio as him and Angela have become our friends through this process. We hope to return the favor one day and welcome them to our home in America. Some helpful tips if you do not have a car— take the train from Sorrento one stop over to Vivo Equense. From there, buy a ticket for the bus to the top of the mountain where you will find the store and class. Be sure to check the last time for the bus returning down the mountain as we missed the last bus into town. A&A graciously offered to drive us down to the train, but we decided to make the 40 minute hike down. If you have a car, you will not have this issue. Regardless of the logistics of transportation, I still greatly recommend this class as it was a highlight of our honeymoon and Italian experience.

10/10 - My friends and I had the best time with angela and antonio, they were so welcoming and taught us so much about how they make mozzarella and after the class was over we went into the garden where we were offered wine and cheese. I can not stress enough how awesome angela and antonio were!

Amazing experience! - We had an amazing visit with Angela and Antonio. We sampled cheeses from their dairy as a starter, prepared basil pasta with tomato sauce (tomatoes and basil from their garden!), and made tiramisu from scratch. Angela was great with our teens and kept everyone engaged and entertained. Everything was extremely hands on. Highly recommend!

Esperienza da non perdere! - A really great experience with great people in a beautiful place. We could see how mozzarella is made in the historical tradition plus taste different varieties of high quality products. Angela, Antonio and little Maria Grazia are cute and we were very good in their company. An unforgettable experience that I would recommend to everyone!

Delicious and fun mozarella making experience! - Angela and Antonio were so welcoming and cultivated a lovely experience for guests at their family dairy farm. It's located in the beautiful hills of Vico Equense, which was a lovely change of pace from other tourist-filled areas. We got to experience the hands-on process of making mozzarella and were given demonstrations by Antonio along the way. To cap it off, they provided us with a delicious cheese plate so we could taste the variety of cheeses they produce, along with wine and the best ricotta dessert we'd ever had. All of which we ate under the charming veranda in the midst of their garden. They were both so friendly and best of all, I was able to purchase half of a caciocavallo in their store to take home with me!

True Artisans of Milk - We spent a fantastic Sunday afternoon in the name of Mozzarella "il fior di latte" and the ancient techniques of processing all the cheeses of the dairy, all accompanied by cheese tasting and the owners Antonio and Angela who explained this beautiful artisan reality that has been going on for 5 generations. That's it, Congratulations. We will return very soon.
