Best way to see the falls - This was my first helicopter ride. The 12 minute ride is all you need. Great way to see the falls in their entirety and get great pictures.

Flabbergasting experience seeing Vic Falls from above!! - This is certainly a must-do experience that should be completed by the walking tour of VIC fall. No words can fully describe the beauty of this 7th natural Wonder!!

Helicopter Rid over Victoria Falls - This has to be one of our most treasured memories. We took the "extended" flight. Yes, it cost a bit more but, for us, totally worth it. Take a good camera that does video. Excellent staff and pilot. We'll go again!

Must do on your Vic falls list - We traveled with a group of 6. As I requested the driver came in the morning to pick us up just in time. We didn't have to wait long for our flight. We liked to go with 6 people at once but the guides told us to go with 4 and 2 people so that everyone gets a window seat. That was a really great idea. The ride was beautifully and at least we had a great trip like a bird.

Amazing - only need the short option - An amazing flight. Well organised and co-ordinated. They do a number of light options - but you really only need the short 12 minute option to get really good views of the falls because you take off literally next to the falls. Post flight video was abit pricey though at $50, whereas other activities tend to be $25. Recommended.

Great views!! - We had a group of 7 people and we had to be split into 2 helicopters. It was the first time going up in a helicopter for many people in our group. The views were amazing. The 12-minute ride was adequate. The video was nice however, we did not want to spend $50 on it.

Flight Over the Falls - We booked the earliest flight and were picked up at The Kingdom. There was some confusion between when the hotel booking agent told us to be ready and when we were actually picked up but it all worked out. The drive was only ~15 minutes from our hotel. We were told by the booking agent that if we reserved our spots we would get a 10% discount. At the ticket office they were going to charge us a park admission fee on top of the $150 flight but I explained to them we were told that we were supposed to get a discount and they only charged us $150. The park admission fee was $15 (a special coincidence) in the end we paid $150 per person for the flight (I roll my eyes at the convenient 'discount' and the park fee but I took it). The flight itself is comfortable but if you're more than 100 kg then you can't sit up front, if not you can draw straws with the other small people for who can ride up front. The chopper does two figure 8 passes over the falls and gives you a nice perspective in about 12 minutes. The flight was fine completely safe and memorable. In retrospect it probably wasn't worth $150 for less than 15 minutes of flight time, but if this is your only trip to VF it would probably be worth it. I felt it would have been worth ~$100 but I wouldn't do it again for $150. At the end of the flight, they will offer to sell you a video of your flight-but it wasn't worth it to me since I took numerous pictures and videos with my camera and phone and the view was spectacular.

Too high to see anything interesting - It is too high to see anything. The view from walking tour is much better . I do not know why they fly so high. To be able to see something you need to be closer to the action - to the mist.I saw 2 helicopter lower then us but do not know if it would change view drastically and which company they belongs. I believe somewhere among reviews , it was explanation by another reviewer why helicopter fly so high. At this moment , it is irrelevant. Save your money , if able to walk . The only reason I gave more then 1 star - organization was very efficient: bus arrived exactly on time to pickup us from hotel; groups flying one after another without delays , and return to hotel in no time.

Helicopter ride 12 mins - The pick up driver made us feel as if we had picked the wrong ride and wanted us to upgrade and pay more !! Very disappointing ! The pilot flew us around the falls and gorge - not speaking a single word . Some commentary would have been useful whilst flying . Overall very disappointing!

Noise pollution - There is no peace and quiet at Victoria Falls anymore. No chance to enjoy the sounds of the bush and the waterfall. The natural experience people come for is not here anymore. It is destroyed by the constant engine noise of helicopters.
