  • Victoria Falls Bridge - Victoria Falls Tram Trip slot 06h00 and 08h00 trip begins at the Victoria Falls Railway Station just opposite the Victoria Falls Hotel. Once aboard the tram begins it’s gentle 20 to 25-minute ride down to the Victoria Falls Bridge, the railway track does a wide sweep through the African bush and game of different types including elephant, bush buck and buffalo is often seen. The track continues past the Victoria Falls rainforest and at certain times of year you may now feel the cooling spray of the mighty Victoria Falls, this was exactly the intention of Cecil John Rhodes when he first conceptualized the Victoria Falls bridge in the early 1900’s. Border proceedings are taken care of by the driver, and the tram continues onto the historic bridge which spans the impressive Batoka gorge. Amazing sunrise over Victoria Falls - Excellent idea to put this tram into operation at sunrise. We appreciate the kind approach of the staff, the interesting talk of the guide, and we also liked the beautiful uniforms of the staff. Thank you for the experience.

Lovely evening trip to view the sunset! - What an amazing evening at Victoria Falls! We were picked up at our Lodge in good time for the departure and were greeted with a cold drink. We were actually the only passengers on the train on this occasion but we still had a running commentary as we journeyed into the wilderness. Moses, our train driver, kept an eye open for wildlife and stopped whenever he spotted some. On the way back, we stopped for surprise refreshments and we watched the sun go down in the middle of nowhere. Sheer heaven. How did Moses turn the train around when we weren't looking? Only one way to find out!

A Stunning trip. - A "Must Do" It is a pity that not too many people are aware of this trip Reception at the station was courteous and classy and included free drinks and a light meal. The driver of the tram went out of his way to point out a herd of elephants along the track and stopped for us to view and photograph the herd, Stopping on the bridge, we were met by a lovely lady who showed us the dividing line betweern Zambia and Zimbabwe, and other elements regarding the falls, spent time with us watching the bungee jumping and then escorted us to a small lecture room where we enjoyed a splendid dramatization of the building of the bridge and problems surrounding it. After this, at a special viewpoint we were served with more snacks and drinks before taking the tram back to Victoria Falls station. It is quite unbelievable that at least 8 people were involved in this tour while we were only 1 couple on this trip.

A total rip off - Tell the truth in advertising. This tour falsely advertises you will see the falls from both sides.          Tour date: 3/11/22. We paid for the tour 2 weeks ahead. Company Canceled our 12pm  lunch tour reservation, changed to 0800 never contacted us. We called to confirm and learned by accident that our tour had been adjusted. Pick up time was now 0745. Transportation was on time, we arrived for the 8 AM tour. 1 HR wait at train station for 2 other people who were "on their way" (lie. No one showed up)            They advertised train to Victoria Falls, "able to see falls from both sides." The trolly stopped at the end of the Bridge. We paid for tour with lunch. Staff said would substitute breakfast. Breakfast was cup of coffee and a cookie. So we paid$100 for a 15 min trolly ride, a coffee and a cookie..never saw the falls. I wish I could take them to task. But this is Africa!
