On several exhibition levels, the Museum Hundertwasser combines the most important aspects of his work and shows the world’s largest collection of his paintings, prints, tapestries and architectural designs.

My favorite place in Vienna - I've been twice, but I always like to bring people for the first time to see and enjoy Hundertwasser's paintings and the ambiance of the museum itself. After the tour, I always buy ginger tea in a box that imitates the building itself. And, of course, coffee in the beautiful garden of the museum.I always visit the Hundertwasser house, which is a few blocks away (where people actually live) and across the street the Hundertwasser village, an old factory that has been converted into a souvenir shop in the style of Hundertwasser himself.

Don’t miss! Exceptional place to get to know the world of an exceptional artist. - Fascinating visit that made me discover a great artist that I was not aware of, Hundertwasser. A visionary, talented painter, architect and probably philosopher. The museum is very well done, full of breathtaking paintings. The building itself captures the essence of Hundertwasser’s philosophy and style, in stark contrast with the ordinary, austere buildings of Viena. The café is delightful. Must do!

A Fascinating Museum - We knew nothing about this artist and decided to go on a whim on our last day in Vienna (when we were on Hapsburg overload). So glad we did! The artist was way ahead of his time in terms of the environment and living in nature. Plus his work is beautiful! I think this building has recently been renovated and reopened so don't mind the older reviews. Tour this museum and then walk down the street to the Hundertwasserhaus. The cafe was great too!

A very colorful museum - A very nice museum which provides an overview of paintings made by Hundertwasser, his impressive biography and some pieces of art (architecture model), all very colourfull. The museum is rather small so you probably will spend at the most 1 hour. There is also a very nice café downstairs. A few streets away one can see the Hundertwasserhaus, with its amazing facade. An iconic building of Vienna not to be missed.

Unmissable Hundertwasser with children - An essential stop for lovers of the painter and architect Hundertwasser. Exhibition of splendid paintings and prints, in the setting of the building that fully embraces the artist's philosophy. Also recommended for children, for the type of works on display and for the composition of the museum. Under 10s enter for free.

Quirky - Can make you think of Gaudi with his imagination and offbeat side. Beautiful exhibition. Small restaurant on site. I also recommend the apartment building and the shopping center made by Haus, 5 minutes away.

Undulating floors lead to an amazing find! - Here we found the most amazing artist ,Hunderwasser- which was a joy after such a long walk to find it (Its not really easy to find ) the quirky cafe there too was great fun and the staff were most friendly . There is lift access if you need it - the staff were most helpful.Beware the floors beneath you undulate and if you are using crutches of sticks can un nerve you a little.

Hunderwasser's paintings - We had already seen so much art that we were rather tired by the time we got here but we were so glad we did! Whether you know Hundertwasser or whether you don't this is the most charming museum in which to enjoy his amazing work. I've never seen so many of his gorgeous painting. The museum itself is also glorious even down to the loos, the shop and the cafe where the cakes were well up to other Viennese patisseries. This is an absolutely don't miss.

Worth a bisit - This is an exhibition of paintings. I recommend a visit if you enjoy the style. It was not too busy, and we enjoyed our time. There is a nice coffeeshop as well with good coffee and drinks.

Mixed experience at Hunderwasser Museum - Interesting architecture, fascinating environmental exhibit, but paintings were not to our taste and floors were not disabled-friendly.
