- Concerts at the Mozarthaus - Concert in the house of Mozarts first apartment in Vienna, part of the monastery of the “German Teutonic Order”. Mozart lived and worked here for Archbishop Colloredo in the year 1781.
As a piano trio, the Mozart Ensemble plays the most famous works written by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin and many other famous composers. Piano works, solo pieces for violin and cello combined with great piano trios, are performed in a virtuoso manner.
A special highlight of our new concert series is the finale with Haydn’s piano trio “Rondo all’ Ongarese” and Schubert’s trio op. 100.

The ‘Mozart Ensemble’ has a piano trio that performs iconic works by revered composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, and others. These performances include piano compositions, solo pieces for violin and cello, and stunning piano trios, all executed with pure virtuosity.
Our latest concert series has a special treat for the listeners - the conclusion featuring Haydn’s piano trio ‘Rondo all’ Ongarese’ and Schubert’s trio op. 100. We are proud to play in Vienna’s oldest concert hall, the ‘Sala Terrena’, a venue where Mozart himself has performed.
- Not wheelchair accessible, there are 3 steps down to enter the concert hall. Please advise at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required.
- Tickets are Category A (Row 1 to 3) , category B (Row 4 to 6) and Students (All Rows).
- Your tickets will be held at the theater box office for collection on the day of the performance. Please arrive with time (15 min) to collect the ticket before show starting time.

Wonderful night - Exceptional, outstanding night out together as a family. Lucky enough to be second row and totally immersed in the loveliest concert I have ever attended. We were all blown away by the musicality of the musicians - it really was exceptional and the passion with which they played their pieces. Glass of fizz in the courtyard at half time all add up to make this the best night out we have had as a family in very many years. Bravo! Wonderful.

Wonderful Experience! - My husband and I went to this beautiful salon that seated about 40 people and saw a wonderful pianist, violinist and cellist. They did a wonderful program for 1 1/2 hours and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It was held where Mozart actually played!

If you like classical music, it is a must! - Amazing musicians in close proximity to the audience in a beautiful room with excellent sound. We all loved it, including our two 16 year old boys!!!

Best concert in Vienna - Best concert evening in Vienna. A small, intimate venue where the musicians bring you into their world of music. Set in a beautiful room, all the musicians are of international standard. This was our 6th concert in Vienna and way ahead of the other larger settings which are filled with bus loads of tourists who seem disinterested after a few pieces.
If you come to Vienna this concert is a must. Fantastic and uplifting.

Expectations vs Reality - I booked tickets online for category A, the first three rows of the room. The room is so small that you can totally save EUR 10 on category B for row 4/5 (row 6 doesn’t exist, unlike advertised).
The show as at 19:30, confirmed via e-mail on the same day. I got to Mozarthaus at 19:20 and it was ghost town, no one was around to greet you ie even indicate that you were in the right place.
A guy showed up at 19:35 to greet my party and two other people (who were also confused) with a fold up table to start checking tickets. From reviews to their website, this seemed like a legit attraction with some level of organization - don’t be fooled, it’s literally a couple and three other musicians that rent a room at Mozarthaus to play, no “touristy” infrastructure at all.
That being said, the performance started at 20:05. Was it beautiful? Yes. Was it jaw dropping, an experience of a lifetime? Not even close.
