Excellent - We really enjoyed the concert. The setting was beautiful, they spoke both German and English so we could understand what songs they were announcing. The opera singers and ballet dancers were a very nice added addition. We would come again and will recommend to others.

Concert for beginners - I was disappointed with the venue. It was a very simple salon. It programa was entertaining if you never been to a concert. If you are familiar with classical music this was very light and amateur. If you are looking for the classical Vienna concIt. In a grand hall this is NOT it.

Bad music, small orchestra, at least the dancers and one singer were good - I attended the concert at kursalon on Saturday evening august 3, and I was thoroughly disappointed. With tickets at 79€ per person, I would have expected a high level of performance, but what I witnessed instead was a mediocre orchestra with an inept concertmaster. The biggest issue is the leader of the group, he does not play in tune, he plays out of rhythm, and he plays so softly you cannot hear him at times. As a former classical musician, I felt I was witnessing a dynamic where the orchestra is controlled by a person who runs the show but cannot himself play. It was just bad. For example, the beginning of blue Danube waltz was just out of tune and squeaky, and really did not do the piece justice. And there are far too few string players to fill the auditorium with a balanced sound. Overall, not good. The dancers and singers were nice though. Oh and your staff does nothing to prevent the people taking videos during the performance, which is super disruptive. Yes there is a request before the concert in a quiet voice, and a sign held up in the corner, but you must do more because these audience members were terrible. If you're going to advertise this show all over Vienna and take in all this money each night, you should consider investing in some real talent and increasing the level and Size of the orchestra, and staff, starting with replacing the concertmaster. I could see the lack of enthusiasm from the orchestra when the last song was over. No smiles, no laughter, just sad empty stares. I would ask for a refund, but I know with this enterprise it's so clearly all for the money and not for the integrity of Vienna's great classical history, that you would never consider it. It's a real missed opportunity for real musical education and a great show. I hope for others sake the quality improves someday. Word will get out that it's a poor representation of Vienna's rich culture.
