For music lovers - don't miss - A great place. The orchestra conducting experience is really fun, and altogether it's worth it (used a Vienna pass for it).

Worth a visit - A hidden prize. We loved our trip there. So much to do, and a great visit with our 5 year old. Loved the coat check so we could leave our stuff and travel unencumbered

Original must see museum for families and music enthusiasts - We visited the museum in May 2023 as a family with a 3 year old daughter and enjoyed it a lot. Although not too big, it is very well thought with plenty of interesting things and interactive activities both for adults and children. We had a great time, it would be great if all major cities had original museums suitable for the entire family.

Great way to learn more about classical composers - If you are a classical music fan you will enjoy and long visit to learn more about composers, their lives, their accomplishments and their struggles. Even if you are not a classical music fan, you will enjoy the presentation of musical history and the musical steps are a huge hit with children of all ages.

A must for all classical music lovers - As a classical music lover this visit was a must for me. I have learned a lot about music, the cience of sound and my favorite composers. The section on Beethoven, Schubert and Mahler were really inspiring for me and even I already knew a lot before the visit, I still learned many new details about their life and their life in Vienna

Hands On with Music History - We choose this specifically because of the interactivity and fun-looking installations/exhibits and it did not disappoint. Neither of us are huge classical music fans, but the experience is a fantastic look through the history of great Viennense composers through to the the modern Philharmonic. The museum is go at your own pace, which is great because some exhibits/interactions can take some time and a line may form, but there is always something nearby you can engage with to pass time until your turn. I think my favorite part is being able to "conduct" the Vienna Philharmonic with a baton and have them play to your tempo - whether correct or not. Conducting the CanCan a bit too fast defintely made me feel like Bugs Bunny.

Magic through Music - Wrapped up our second day in Vienna at the Haus Der Musik. Having read about it in advance, we were prepared to have fun stepping on the piano staircase, playing the waltz dice game, testing the physics of sound and being a virtual conductor. We were very grateful for the help from the children guests - they taught us how to play the virtual dice for the waltz game and the virtual conductor - all without us speaking German and the children not speaking English.

Interesting - A fun museum where you can learn all about the science of sound, different instruments and famous classical composers. There’s fun interactive elements that both kids and adults can enjoy, the virtual composer part is really fun, would recommend

One of the best experiences in Vienna. - Great place to explore, learn, and enjoy. Lots of history to read and experience, especially composers. And the interactive rooms were fabulous: even the one where you can be the conductor! We did not know what to expect and we were totally thrilled with the experience and with the staff. And this was the least costly of all of our experiences. Go and enjoy.
