Excellent - Coming to go snorkeling, we took advantage of this outing which was offered to us in a glass-bottom boat. Outing to do again as the conviviality was great. The captain speaks French and the biologist English. History, anecdotes and the meeting of the fish outside the islet. We highly recommend OceanSea.

Highly recommend it! - We had a very enjoyable trip. The marine biologist was very knowledgeable , pointing out different species of fish and guiding us carefully whilst snorkeling. The skipper, Edmundo, was also extremely friendly and patient, talking to everybody and taking photos for everybody. It’s a trip worth taking. We highly recommend it.

Friendliness and feeling of being part of the family with Edmundo and Zé - Unforgettable. Incredible visit to the islet of Vila Franca do Campo. Mr Edmundo has a rare hospitality nowadays, he welcomed us in such a tender and familiar way. We felt at home. A visit that marked us due to our desire and freedom of time. A company that does not prioritize business greed but rather time with its visitors. They made us feel completely at ease during the visit and the snorkeling activity. Zé (biologist) was always present to explain and identify all the species we were seeing. We leave our hearts in Vila Franca with Oceaneye. We will always return whenever we visit the Azores! Thank you very much!!!

Thrilling ocean experience! - The marine biologist was knowledgeable and kind- she truly loves the ocean and creatures. We had a small group early in the season, so going into the lagoon was not possible until June, as bird conservation around nesting is in effect. We saw many kinds of lovely fish , crabs, birds and octopus. Snorkeling was well-organized and exciting, in the surrounding ocean. Our boat man and other staff were friendly, courteous and went out of their way to make sure we all enjoyed the activities. I would recommend this tour without hesitation- you might need flexibility in rough weather but rescheduling is worth it!

Fantastic Experience! - One of the highlights of our trip! Our guide was a Marine biologist with a passion for the ocean. He did a great job leading our 6 person tour, explaining things in both English and Portuguese for the different guests. We did a lap around the islet, then threw on our snorkeling gear and dove into the cold ocean water! For average swimmers, I would suggest you use a life jacket, as the sea can be choppy and the goal is to focus on snorkeling, not staying afloat! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a quality experience out on the water south of Sao Miguel!

OCEANEYEAZORES 5⭐ - I can say that it was one of the most incredible experiences we had as a family last year. We offered our son the opportunity to go boating and diving. We loved the explanations about the historical facts, which Mr. Edmundo, the boat captain, told us, it was clear that he knows a lot and loves what he does and above all he welcomed us very well. I say this and it is good to point out that often we Azoreans are left out in our own land, because tourism is what is "booming" and they are given other attention and here that was not the case. We were three Azoreans among ten tourists. Thanks to this trip, my son was more certain that he wants to be a marine biologist. I highly recommend having an incredible and safe experience with Oceaneyeazores. Good luck to everyone and who knows, maybe there will be another ride this year.

Super nice educational experience - It was a great experience, almost exclusive to us. The two guides explained everything in detail: flora, fauna, geology, history. The skipper added many lovely anecdotes. The tour is a "must" for visitors to the beautiful island. Thank you very much!

Glass bottom boat trip with snorkeling - The staff on the boat were great. The guide gave us a lot of information about the region, and the fish we saw below the boat. We traveled all around the island before the snorkeling experience. We were able to snorkel for about a half hour. The fish were not as colorful as those seen snorkeling off Cozumel in Mexico but it was a great excursion.

Take the ferry instead - The boat trip and snorkeling was good but the tour guide that spoke in Portuguese spoke for about 10 times the amount the English translator did so we definitely did not get the same information as others. The guide that took us in the water seemed very annoyed we didn't know not to swim into the lagoon or go near the side/underwater rocks so I think that had not been translated to us. Flipper sizes should have been organized in advance as we spent a lot of the allotted time figuring out equipment before the swim. Couldn't see much in the water but the glass bottom was still pretty cool and it was neat that some people swam underneath the boat. I would recommend taking the ferry to the island so you can actually swim in the lagoon area and walk on the island.
