Wonderful Tour - Maria was a delight! The wine options were wonderful at all three places. It was a great balance between the three locations. I look forward to buying Port wine.

Will do this again for sure. - Maria was an amazing tour guide. She had such a personality that got you in the mood to try everything and made you not just see the places and taste the wine, but to share your perception of the wine.
Made it so enjoyable.
I would repeat this for sure. Well worth it.

Best Port and Douro wine tasting experience in Porto - Maria was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. She guided us through the rain. Her enthusiasm and demeanor was fun and informative. We had three venues, smaller producers, which provided interesting and really substantive grape growing and wine production info for the Douro Valley. We had a White and a Ruby wine which we liked, especially the 14.5 wine w/o fortification. Next stop was three more traditional with White, Ruby and Tawny ports. Next stop was the best with two wine tastings and three ports. This was served with nuts cheese honey and prosciutto. Our hostess at the third establishment was entertaining I and hugely informative. She answered all of our tricky questions with knowledgeable answers and a sense of humor

Plenty of drinks and some were lovely.

Fun Day to Spend When It Rains - Our hostess for the wine tour was not only informational but charming as well. We were taken to 2 wine houses and a wine shop with a brief instructional speech on wines. The first two venues provided delicious port but the last venue was a bit disappointing.

Wine tasting in Porto always great - Wines were all very good as was the guide Marie. Group was a bit on the large size. As seniors were left a bit behind on the climb up the hill however once Marie noticed this she took extra care to make sure where we were. Again thank you Marie

Good tour overall - This was a very good tour with good information provided at each stop.
Strongly recommend having something to eat in advance of the tour as food is not provided.

Steep climb be aware - Please be aware of the steep climb to the first stop. There’s also a lot of steps to get down to the second stop plus there is no elevator to the tasting area.
The history and the knowledge that was shared was interesting as was our guide Ricardo. He made the tour enjoyable
