  • Luís I Bridge - Pass through and get to know about the most iconic bridge of Porto and Gaia
  • Serra do Pilar Viewpoint - The Serra do Pilar or Serra de São Nicolau or Serra de São Nicolau de Vila Nova is an elevation overlooking the Douro River located in the parish of Santa Marinha, Vila Nova de Gaia, bordering the city of Porto. There is the famous Serra do Pilar Monastery (construction started in 1538). For many years transformed into barracks and currently classified as World Heritage (UNESCO), this monastery is today one of the most important tourist attractions in the region.
  • Fortress Sao Joao Baptista - The Fort of São João Baptista da Foz, also known as São João da Foz Castle or Foz do Douro Fortress, is located in Foz do Douro, in the current parish of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde, in the municipality and district of Porto, in Portugal.

In a dominant position over the Atlantic Ocean and at a short distance from the mouth of the Douro River, it is also known as Castelo do Queijo (Cheese Castle) because, according to tradition, it was built on a round granite rock, and with a shape similar to that of a cheese (penedo do Queijo).

  • Miradouro da Vitoria - One of the most beautiful views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The Miradouro da Vitória is somewhat hidden but worth the visit.

Douro Private Historical Tour - Viktor was a nice guide but I don’t think we got to see all of the stops we were supposed to including the Passeio Allegra Garden, Castle of the Cheese and Miradouro da Vitoria.
