Good tour - Good tour. Our guide was early and took us promptly along the planned itinerary. We enjoyed the various stops. At the final stop at bauska castle he gave us a quick guided tour and we were on our way. This is a nice way to transit between Vilnius and Riga while also seeing sights in the countryside and learning about their culture.

Hill of the Crosses is a MUST SEE - The Hill of the Crosses was all I had hoped it would be. We brought five crosses from various orientations; Greek Orthodox, Turkish, Crucifix from Israel, American flag cross made by US veterans, and a Christian woven wood cross. The heat was unbearable that day, so the castles weren't as fun as then should have been.

Baltic Adventure - Our guide Domas was very pleasant and knowledgeable without being overbearing. We had a very nice day, but a very long day. We did not realize it was such a long ride to Riga and, in fact, had to cancel on Bauska Castle as it was getting so late in the day. As it was, we did not gat to Riga till after dark. Nevertheless, we were very pleased with the visit to Hill of Crosses and Rundale Palace, both moving experiences.

well worth the money - We were planning to travel from Vilnius to Riga, when we saw this tour, and thought "why not", so glad we did. Pick us was smooth, and our driver was pleasant and professional. The van that picked us up was new and clean, water was offered, and there were plugs for our phones. The trip was long, but broken up with stops, lunch, bathroom breaks, The Hill of Crosses is a must-see, and listing to the history is amazing. Our hotel was in the old city, and our driver dropped us off at the corner

Great Tour - We loved this private car tour. The tour says it gets into Riga about 6p, but we wanted to get to Riga earlier. The driver/company said it was up to us how long we wanted to spend at each location. This worked out perfect. We were on our own time. The Hills of Crosses was an experience. Rundale Palace was amazing and Bauska Castle was interesting. We had lunch at Rundale Palace, which took forever to get food in the cafe, but the food was good. We got to Riga little before 5p.

Excellent, worthwhile, informative tour - I did this day tour from Vilnius to Riga in July 2019. The tour included stops at Hill of the Crosses in Lithuania, along with Rundale Palace and Bauska Castle in Latvia. After I originally scheduled this as a group tour, the tour company, Discover Lithuania, contacted me three days prior to the tour and asked whether I'd be OK with starting the tour later than the original start time and also doing it as a private tour. I appreciated them consulting me in advance about the schedule change, and I agreed to do it as a private tour. My guide for the tour was Andrius, who drove me to each site and explained the history of Lithuania, Latvia, and the Baltic region in great and very impressive detail both at each stop and in between stops. His knowledge and command of history and culture was outstanding. Andrius put a great deal of effort into explaining the history of each site and its cultural significance in Lithuania/Latvia. The tour also included a stop at a traditional Lithuanian restaurant, where I ate dumplings for lunch (but could not finish them because the portions were very large and filling!) Hill of Crosses may be interesting not only to religious people (especially practicing Roman Catholics) but also to people who are interested in learning more about the resistance of the Lithuanian people to the Soviet occupation of the country. Rundale Palace is quite beautiful. The site dates back to the early 18th Century and offers both self-guided and guided tours and includes a stunning garden unlike anything I've ever seen before. Bauska Castle is also an interesting site as a fortress along what was the main route of trade between Riga and Vilnius. I highly recommend this tour for people who are interested in a more detailed and thorough understanding of Lithuanian and Latvian culture and history. I also commend this company for consulting me in advance about the schedule change and for not charging me the higher price for changing to a private tour - this is an indication of a reputable, honest company. This tour is also a much more interesting way of travelling from Vilnius to Riga than simply taking a bus directly. If you are planning to travel between the two cities and want to learn more about the history and culture of these countries, book this tour, and request Andrius as your guide. You will not be disappointed!

Travel from Vilnius to Rega with great sightseeing. - It is a very good option not just to travel from Lithuania to Latvia, but also the opportunities to visit attractions - the Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace and Bauska Castle. It is recommended to those who would like to travel from Vilnius to Rega and at the same time wish to visit the place of interest along the journey.

Efficient way to travel between cities and visit Hill of Crosses - Very prompt pickup and smooth ride from Vilnius to Riga and able to visit the Hill of Crosses without hassle on public transport and walking in cold. Rundale Palace also nice and not many tourists due to low season, but both Cafe and Restaurants not opened and no other time to eat lunch at all. Felt a bit rush at Bauska Palace and even though castle was closed for renovations, not able to take exterior view since the visit was rush. Overall good trip and saved a lot of trouble on visiting the spots that locate middle of nowhere between the 2 capitals
