My passion for bikes and their historical significance aids me in designing intriguing expeditions. My personal travel endeavors on bicycles further enhance the bond I form with tourists. I curate journeys inspired by experiences that I myself would find fulfilling. In addition, it’s a green method of discovering the island.

Highlights
  • Tomato Industrial Museum, D.Nomikos - On the beach of Vlychada in Santorini, with the impressive volcanic rock formations, the Tomato Industrial Museum “D. Nomikos” with its characteristic chimney that dominates the lunar landscape, narrates stories, not only about the business history of Nomikos’ family, but also about time, memories and the inhabitants of the island.

  • Perissa Black Sand Beach - When someone hears the term “Black Beach”, several questions come into his mind as the sight of a beach with black color is fairly unusual. So let’s find out the answers to all the questions!

  • Castelli of Emporio - The medieval castle of Emporio is quite a sight and definitely the greatest attraction of Emporio village. An exploration of the well-maintained castle and its nearby tower will revive a past era of glory and give you an alternative experience.

  • Vineyards - The vineyards lie close to the ground, pruned in a shape of basket to protect the grapes, which grow in the center of the basket……

  • Heart of Santorini - The Venetian Castle lies in Akrotiri village, on the southern side of Santorini.
In addition to its historical importance that makes it one of the most visited landmarks in Santorini, it is a wonderful viewpoint, from where you can admire the caldera.

  • Megalochori - Traditional Village - Megalochori means “great village.” As a village, Megalochori as we know it dates back until at least the 17th Century, making it comparatively young by Greek standards.

Wonderful bike tour - Giannis is a very experienced cycler who's taken his passion for biking and crafted an excellent tour of the south end of Santorini. We had a great time on the e-bikes. The tour was beautiful and very informative. You'll need to know how to ride a bike, but endurance is less of a concern since the e-bikes are peddle assist and do all the hard work for you.

This tour is a blast! - We loved seeing the sites of south Santorini—beaches, vineyards, villages, churches and castles— where roads and towns are quieter and less touristy. Our guide was delightful and treated us to drinks and snacks and wine tasting along the way. We rode on backroads, gravel roads, even a little single track about 70% of the time. Highly recommend for those liking something a little more active but not challenging at all.

A fun healthy & informative way to see Santorinii - We were picked up from Fira which was convenient. We went to the Tomatoe Museum picked up our bikes and road through the black sandy beaches, through the vineyards and little towns and ntfl

10/10 bike ride experience - Giannis was the best. He took us on a bike ride across the island and made multiple stops to tell us about the history. We even stopped and got a nice snack at the top of a castle. Really amazing experience and would highly recommend going with him!

Fun, history and exercise in Santorini! - Janis is very knowledgeable and safe on the bike. I highly recommend. He told us a lot about the various types of grapes and the corresponding grapes, as well as the history of the towns and their buildings. One highlight was right at the beginning with the tomato museum. We also had a wine tasting with snacks.

Great experience - We had an amazing tour with Gianni. We were lucky enough to be a party of 6 and we were the only guests on the tour. The bikes were really comfy and looked new! We enjoyed every moment during our cycling, but the highlight was the emporio castle! Highly recommended!!!

Perfect Cycling Experience - We had an amazing day cycling with Giannis and Fotini in the south party of Santorini. They are clearly experienced guides and lovely, warm people!. I felt safe on my bike and well cared for. Equipment was excellently maintained and rider-friendly. The conversation and guiding was wonderful and the focus on the quality of our experience was unsurpassed. I highly recommend Red Grape Adventures for a cycling day on Santorini.

Absolutely fantastic! - I can’t recommend this highly enough - it’s a fantastic way to see the southern portion of the island and it’s amazing how far you travel, with minimal effort, thanks to the electric bike. However, what makes this tour extra special is the guide - Giannis. A wonderful chap to spend 3.5hrs with, he is passionate about cycling and incredibly knowledgeable on the sights. This really takes you ‘off the beaten track’ and you’ll see some of what Santorini has to offer, from a very different perspective.
