Our initial stop will be at the foot of the imposing Wakayama Castle Tower, an ideal spot to admire the architectural splendour of the castle (Please note that entry to the castle tower is not included). Along the way, we’ll delve into the history of the castle and city. Following our castle visit, we’ll head into downtown Wakayama to give you a taste of local daily life, traditions, culture, cuisine, and more. If at any point you start feeling weary from all the walking, don’t worry—we can take a break whenever you’d like. We’ll cover a distance of about 3km (or 2 miles), with some uphill areas leading to the castle tower.
