Amazing! - It was a beautiful full-day hike, perfect for people who want to visit something less touristy but still get a once in a lifetime experience, equal as rainbow mountain! Would recommend!

Amazing hike - Waqra pukara is the hike to do when your sick of having to much tourists around you and you just want to enjoy nature. It was a tough hike, but definetly worth it. Along the way you enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna that Peru has to offer: condors, cactuses, rockformations, lakes, etc. And getting closer to waqra pukara you have the most amazing view over the canyon. Inti sun trek offers you a boxed lunch, which you can enjoy with the view over the canyon, the condors and the amazing scenery of waqra pukara. If you don't have a lot of time I'd advice to skip the crowded rainbow mountain and go to waqra pukara instead.

Even better than Machu Picchu, you just won't believe it! - We had an amazing day at Waqra Pukara. The hike is challenging, but accessible and we were really proud to be able to make it. Not only Waqra Pukara and the Apurimac Canyon are breathtaking, but all the hike is really beautiful with lakes, the flora of Peru (especially the really small and cute cactuses who grow in altitude), the mountains and some stone circles and stone constructions along the way. When we arrived to the stone structure of Waqra Pukara, we had a picnic with the stunning view over the canyon and we had the chance to see a few condors as well. This site is totally untouched and as it is not popular yet, we had a really pleasant and relax day, without seeing any tourists. It is a must do! The Inti Sun Trek agency is also really helpful, professional and overall, the experience was perfect.

One of the best trips of my life - When you are visiting Cusco do not forget to visit these Inka ruins! We hiked for 7 hours through a breathtaking landskape coming across lakes and stone constructions and we were lucky enough to see 2 condors. I would recommand this excursion to everybody visiting Peru, it is an absolut must do. The agency Inti Sun Trek was very professional, we had a driver and a guide. We got a packed lunch (that is included in the price) that we ate on the archeological site of Waqra Pukara with an amazing view of the Apurimac Canyon. What is really great is that it is not (yet) a touristic place so the site was not crowded like Machu Picchu. I really enjoyed this day-trip!

Wakra Pukara: Amazing off the beaten track tour - This is seriously a hike you should do when going to Cusco. Because it is totally new, unspoiled, undiscovered by tourists... A beautiful hike in the mountains to Wakra Pukara. An interesting Inca site to the south of Cusco in an amazing mountain landscape. Private tour, well organized, well guided: A must do!
