Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Walk along a black granite wall listing the names of 58,000 American souls who were sent to a distant land to fight for the welfare of others and combat communism.
Tidal Basin - The highlight of the area, where the Cherry Blossom trees are most concentrated. The views are breathtaking. Each year, the National Park Service predicts their peak bloom, usually between March 15th and April 4th, lasting up to two weeks.
