Highlights
  • U.S. Capitol - You may have learned a pretty good bit about this place in your history class, but we are going to tell you what your teacher didn’t. This place is crawling with the restless dead. We’ve got everything from bloodstains on the staircase to the phantom of one infernal feline.
  • Folger Shakespeare Library - George Eberhart once said that there are two reasons a library is haunted. The first is that the library was the scene of a tragedy. The second is that the former caretakers, librarians, and benefactors of the library are too attached to their collections to leave. Here you will find out which of the two is the cause of the hauntings within this great library.

Allegra was awesome! - Allegra was awesome and really invested in telling some interesting and fun stories! We had a crazy run in with the neighborhood cat who ended up joining the tour at the end, and she even helped make sure he got home to his owners okay. I appreciated her enthusiasm and great storytelling skills!

Entertaining walk to learn spooky history - Guide was very knowledgeable about DC history. He was not overly dramatic or cheesy with the ghost aspect. The amount of walking was just right between stops to get some exercise and ask questions.

A Ghostly Walk on a Moon-Lit Night! - Alllegra was great! She was friendly, energetic & knowledgeable about DC. It was a beautiful night for a walk around Capital Hill and listening to the ghost stories. My favorite was the ghost in the blue row house (almost a Dorian Gray) type of story! We enjoyed hearing the history of the different buildings too. We ended up at US Capital and got some nice pictures.A Ghostly walk

Good history, nice walk, hit up some popular landmarks - We had a fun little neighborhood cat visitor for the last half of the trek and it was amazing. Great stories, cool to see some of the more popular landmarks at night when it’s quieter.
