Cocktail Club - Meeting place unclear on itinerary but no fault of Wayne our tour guide. Writer did not have her phone switched on where Wayne suggested we meet him! Very enjoyable tour and Wayne had lots of interesting historical stories. We were a group of 3 and we all felt that we had a better grasp of the history of Georgetown by the end of the tour. We highly recommend him. Ali (England), Audrey (France), and Sarah (Vancouver Island).

Best tour - Becca, our historian was amazing! She knew all the answers to any of our questions and was just so wonderful on this two hour trip. I would recommend this walk to anyone that is interested in seeing Quaint and rich feeling Camma and hearing about the history.

Great tour guide-... - Great tour guide- infectious enthusiasm and incredible knowledge. Only suggestion would be to change the starting mtg point. Audience needs a specific address, not a park

History Delivered With Humour - Excellent tour focusing on the architecture and the key buildings of Georgetown. This was skilfully linked to the human stories of people who had lived in them. We all enjoyed the package very much. Our guide, Katherine, was charming and very knowledgeable; it is a real skill to pitch the information at the right level and she was excellent at doing so. Our group was quite nosey about the sale prices of the houses and Katherine was able to add that information as we walked around. The walking was easy - no steep climbs although some pavements have uneven surfaces. Really enjoyed it as did my adult kids.

A Pleasant, Informative and Entertaining Tour - Our guide, Katherine, was terrific. She was a historian by training and has pivoted to writing her first novel. She gave us a lot of historical information on Georgetown and pointed out the three architectural styles, Federalist, Victorian, and Italianite. She told us lively stories, some of which she prefaced as being “gossip.” We went by many famous people’s homes, like the Kennedy’s, Madeline Albright, Ben Bradley and Robert Todd Lincoln. Of course, there were back stories about the people and their homes. Katherine kept the tour interesting. We ended near the gates to Georgetown University, and, on our own, saw the two transformers outside of a private home. They look as if they have been constructed of scrap pieces, and there has been alot of controversy from neighbors who want them removed from their charming and historic neighborhood. Katherine does other tours, which I am looking forward to doing.

Learning the history of... - Learning the history of Georgetown as we walked about was great. Eli was knowledgeable, brought a sense of humor & overall did a good job. I do think the price was little high for the tour.

Disappointed and deserted - Our guide was well versed in the history of the area, but for the price, therefore and lack of accommodations of this tour, we were both a little disappointed as well as worn out and feeling abandoned in the middle of Georgetown . I would not recommend this tour.
