Excellent tour, excellent guide - Guide brought paintings to life by pointing out and explaining tiny details that showed much more of the meaning than a casual viewer might get. For example, in the well-known painting of Napoleon, she noted the burned-down candle, the hour on the clock, the sand in his fist, the disheveled hair . . . all designed to show he'd been toiling through the night for his countrymen. Highly recommend this tour and our guide, Leigh.

I recommend Leigh’s guided tour of the National Gallery of Art enthusiastically. . - Leigh was a fantastic guide. Her expertise in, and love of art of every period is immediately apparent. She believes that the history of art reflects the development of human society. I agree. We live in interesting times. An appreciation of art history and it’s evolution provides a useful perspective on where we’ve been and what we may become.

Outstanding guide, great gallery tour - Leigh our tour guide was possibly the most knowledgeable & engaging fine arts tour guide ever. I’ve done tours in three countries & this was by far the best explained. My teenage son commented after on how it really made the gallery visit a better experience. This was a bit pricey compared to others, but worth the money.

It was OK - Our guide was obviously very knowledgeable, but due to her age, she was not engaging. She kept forgetting which wing of the museum we were in and was very forgetful.
