- Washington Monument - 555 Feet tall, this is the largest free standing masonry structure in the world! A monument to the first President and Father of the Country, George Washington. Since 1888 this monument has towered over DC and the surrounding country side.
- World War II Memorial - 56 granite pillars surround the fountain in this majestic tribute to the greatest generation of Americans who came of age in a time of economic depression, and emerged from this conflict as heroes. Stroll around the grounds and you will learn about different aspects of the war from the perspective of the US which fought in both The Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Dedicated in 2004, this memorial is popular with visitors to DC.
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial - A quiet place designed for reflection, this memorial has over 58 thousand names of US casualties from this conflict etched into the black granite panels. Accommodating the wall is the Three Soliders Statue and a memorial to the female nurses who served.
- Korean War Veterans Memorial - Dedicated in 1995, this memorial has a black granite wall facing 19 stainless steel statues. Walking through this memorial can be a powerful experience with its focus on the visual arts.
- Lincoln Memorial - The most iconic memorial in the country. President Abraham Lincoln occupies an almost mythic and revered place in the hearts of Americans everywhere. When it was dedicated in 1922, Lincoln’s son Robert Todd Lincoln was a guest of honor. At that point he represented a dwindling group of veterans who still remembered their their onetime leader and statesmen.

The guide makes the tour - Our guide was exceptional! He made the tour a great tour. All of the monuments were impressive. They were so impressive that we returned after dark to see them illuminated. Our favorites were the Washington monument, World War 2, and the Lincoln Memorial.

Great Guide and Informative - Gavin, our tour guide was excellent. He shared many interesting historic details we were not aware of. It’s well worth it. I have tried for over 20 yrs to get into the Washington Monument. Viator and Gavin thanks again.

Loved Washington monument... - Loved Washington monument and found everything very interesting. Guide was very knowledgeable. Would havevloved to see Jefferson memorial also.

Stunning Tour - National Mall and admission tickets!
We loved our time on the mall with Dc By Foot, always a great experience. It was cloudy day but our new from the Washington Monument was stunning nonetheless. If you cannot get your act together to get Washington Monumnet entry tickets, then this tour is the best walk and the easiest way to get in!
