Best Museum Ever - Wow amazing. Words cannot express what a place this is. If you like space and planes then don’t miss it. From Neal Armstrongs watch to the Kittyhawk fantastic exhibits. Take your time and book a timed slot before you go this is essential, all the museums are free but very very busy. I booked in the UK very easy. Excellent facilities in the museum and fully accessible for persons with mobility issues.

Mars Cafe Offsets Free Admission - The National Air and Space Museum was one of the reasons we road tripped 2000 miles. We have visited many air and space museums and although this facility had soaring ceilings and clean restrooms, I would not say it met expectations of " the best." Some exhibits had print so small or were so poorly lighted that one had to be nose to nose with the print. Although advance reservations are required, we found some areas way too crowded to view and appreciate the exhibits. Also, seating weary moms and tired seniors? More please. Yes, there is an onsite cafe: Mars Cafe downstairs. Although the museum entrance is FREE, you will more than make up for it in the Mars Cafe. $50 for a hot dog, garden salad, Mediterranean Fl and three single-serving bags of chips (chips $3.15 per bag!); we purchased NO drinks or our bill for three would have been $75!
