Fabulous full day trip - Phil was a fantastic tour guide with lots of local knowledge and passion for the local countryside and communities. The food and wines were delicious and the scenery stunning. We saw many seals on the coastal road. The climb up the steps to the lighthouse was a bit tough but well worth it. A fabulous day.

All-Around Lovely Tour with an Excellent Guide! - Really a lovely balanced tour. The itinerary had a wonderful mix of activity and food/wine tasting. You start with getting out on a 45 min walking trail, where you get some insight into the flora of a Wairarapa forest along the way. The gentle walk is a great way to work up an appetite for the next delicious foodie stops - an organic cheese shop in Featherston and Poppies vineyard in Martinborough. Towards the end of the tour you go on some really picturesque stops along the coast. On one of them you can get a close view of a huge group of cute seals. The tour guide, Phil, was excellent. Knowledgeable, kind, and very funny! He even went out of his way drop us at a hotel we booked seperate to the tour, and returned our chocolate/cheese bought from one of the stops that we forgot in the van.

The platter at Poppies was amazing, the wines were great and the dinner stop was cozy warm and had great food and service. A fun and scenic tour with lots of delicious food! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day. We had opportunities to try marvelous food in charming shops and wineries, and saw many beautiful and wild places far off the beaten track. Included were some short walks in a variety of lovely terrains, and views of sea lions and many native birds. Our guide, Phil, was friendly, attentive, and provided loads of great information. The small size group meant we had time to chat with others also interested in this kind of experience. It was a terrific tour in every way.

Highly Recommend - The tour was great - Phil was engaging, knowledgable and entertaining. The chocolate shop was lovely, the winery was beautiful and the lighthouse/seal were special. The bus was comfortable, plenty of room and the scenery was spectacular - it was great to see a different side to Wellington. My only negative and it really is not a negative is that as we were only here for a couple of days and busy on tours so we had to say no to the cheese as I could not take it home with me when I left New Zealand. Great job Phil - we had a lovely day!!!
