Anyone visiting Kepa Kurl (Esperance) should do this cultural tour! - Annie was great and shared heaps of her culture, stories and knowledge. Loved knowing Dreamtime stories, the several islands on the coast and discovering and tasting bush food. Anyone visiting Kepa Kurl (Esperance) should do this cultural tour from Dabungool Cultural Experiences. I've enjoyed it so much that, like a boomerang, I will return. Thank you! Boordawan, Hugo

Getting to know Esperance best - Thanks Annie for showing us a Traditional Owners view of Esperance. Much more Interesting than the colonial monuments. Annie shared her knowledge of local plants, their Aboriginal names and uses and Aboriginal history and stories of places to remember Kepa Kurl- Esperance

Highly recommended - Annie the guide was a delight. She had her grandson Keinan with her and he was a lovely young man. We learnt a lot of interesting facts and language and wonderful indigenous stories. Tried some interestingly tasting items from the bush and the picture perfect spots to take breathtaking scenic photos were wonderful. Highly recommend, you can ask Annie anything and she’s a wealth of knowledge. Easy stroll and nothing to strenuous about the walking part.

Informative and enjoyable walk. - The experience was wonderful. We learnt so much about the bush and what the Nyoongar people eat when living in the bush. Our guide was very informative and happy to take it easy during the walk to let me keep up. We both loved the scenery and our cup of tea and damper bread and biscuits after the walk were most welcome.

Recommend - My friends and I were doing a road trip in Esperance and were interested to check out this experience. We didn't really know what to expect other than to learn more about Aboriginal culture in respects to the land. It did not disappoint, the tour was full of information about native flora and the various uses, and ended with the most delicious afternoon tea made all with natural ingredients from the land. And the tour guide and her grand daughter were very warm and welcoming.

Highlight of our trip - I was surprised we were the only people on the tour the day we went as it's such a valuable and unique experience to have. It's so important to me to have these opportunities to connect with the traditional owners of the land - and to see the environment through their eyes. As it was a warm day, it was a relief that the walk was a leisurely one - and the view at different points was stunning. All the information provided was interesting and I've been trying to recall as much as I can since. Thank you Julie and family!
