Lovely adventure - I initially booked with Exploration, but later realized they use a third-party operator, D-Tours, for Komodo tours. Booking directly with D-Tours can save you money. However, the booking process with Exploration was straightforward. Their quick WhatsApp responses, usually within 3 minutes, made it convenient. When we faced unexpected flight delays to Labuan Bajo, they seamlessly rearranged our tours without any hassle. I messaged them on WhatsApp, explained the situation, and they promptly responded with, "No worries, this has been sorted," which greatly eased my stressful situation. What an incredible day! It was notably less tiring than the full-day Komodo tour we slid had done. Our group was delightfully smaller, with only 13 fellow adventurers on our trip. The first hike was quite challenging, with steep terrain and somewhat questionable steps. It's important to note that this portion may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility. The Rinca Island tour offered a unique experience compared to the Komodo Island tour. We gained valuable insights into the lives of the dragons and were fortunate to observe many of them in their natural habitat. The snorkeling spot was situated to the east and boasted shallow waters, making it accessible and enjoyable for all. The boat staff and guides truly exceeded our expectations. They not only provided excellent service but also willingly took stunning photos for us and guided us to the most picturesque spots. The flying foxes, are giant bats, were an absolute spectacle to behold. It added an unexpected and memorable element to our adventure. Overall, it was a fabulous day out that we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

amazing trip! - amazing trip, highly recommended. it's a perfect complement to the "main" kind of komodo 1d tour. we saw a bunch of dragons on Rinca (which is definitely a prettier island than Komodo), and the flying foxes at sunset are and absolutely majestic spectacle. the boat was comfortable and the crew was great.

Amazing sunset tour! - The flying foxes was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. I could not believe my eyes. That was the cherry on top of a great tour. Rinca was excellent and we saw several Komodo dragons, and the snorkeling was amazing. Baby Reef sharks were all over one of the islands we went to.

Great crew on a great boat - Nice mix of activities (water-based, hiking, snorkelling, etc.) I love bats so very much enjoyed watching the fruit bats at sunset. All facilitated by a friendly and punctual crew.

We had an enjoyable... - We had an enjoyable moment with the crew. We wished we had more time snorkeling. Although we wish we had gone on another trip, the whole day trip, as that would be visiting the Komodo Island and seeing more komodo dragons. The agent needs to be more clear with the shoe requirements on the island. Other than that it was all good.

Awesome tour with complicated communication in advance - The tour was amazing. We were only 5 people, everyting worked very well. The views, Rinca Island and especially the flying foxes were amazing. And we had plenty of time everywhere. The only complicated thing was communication. My first trip was cancelled due to not enough people. But they only told me when I asked again for the pick up time for next morning. Then it startet postponing, confirming, 30 min later postponing again for the next days. Hard way to get there but the tour itself was great.

nice but should improve - A bit sad that the first stop to see the fishes was on a spot where most of the corals are dead so not much fishes. Disapointed that we did not stop at the second spot to do snorkeling, so we arrived much earlier on the spot to see the Komodo dragon and could have seen much more of them one hour later as they were begining to go out when we left as the sun was lower. Also if we stopped at the second spot of snorkeling we wouldn't have had to wait 1h30 to see the sunset in a place were there was not much to do as to wait. the staff was barely friendly. So i will say, very expensive for what we get.
