Very good! - Absolutely does what it says on the tin! Well thought out, clues intriguing enough but not too tough. Extra information from 'Bess' took the place off a live tour guide. Would recommend, and do elsewhere.

Well worth it!! - Really fun afternoon and an amazing way to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. The game is put together really well and full of lots of interesting information. Will definitely be doing another one in a different city!

Sites of Brum with fun and fitness. - What a fantastic way to explore Birmingham with friends. Being from Birmigham, I was still introduced to new sites and knowledge. The clues are just challenging enough to make you think a bit. Wear comfy shoes as it's a looooong walk, but, you can take a break as often as you want. Thanks Captain Bess!

A treasure hunt to proposing to the one I treasure most. - The Birmingham treasure hunt was brilliant and went well with the sunny weather we got during the first May bank holiday. It took us down some of the most scenic paths through central Birmingham as well as being very informative, fun and engaging. This wasn’t our first treasure hunt, as we had done one of their other ones in Cambridge, and my partner also did one with her work in Manchester. It was the best mini adventure we’ve had; more so especially as I had chosen it was my way of proposing to my, now fiancée, during the treasure hunt. It was and is, a memory of a lifetime.

Great, fun way to see the city - Played with a group of friends. None of us had spent much time in the city so found it a great way to see the sights, find our way around with a few hidden gems. Stopped offline the way at places mentioned and some not. All of which we'd recommend. A great way to spend a few hours which we made last most of the day. Will definitely do another in a different city.

Brilliant fun and well orchestrated - Superb fun, good value, great “ app” guiding your progress. Got to know our local city a lot better , fascinating. Highly recommend. Lots of effort gone into the hunt development and lots of “ by the way” historical info. Hard enough to be fun but not so hard as to be frustrating. Will look at another city one soon!!

Fun in Brum! - We don’t live far away from Birmingham at all and pop in and out of the city fairly often. We had a few hours to kill on this occasion with another family and in a bid to keep the kids entertained decided to do this treasure hunt. It was a brilliant experience, really well organised with simple to follow instructions. We loved how we could follow this on our phones without the need for any really detailed maps etc. This appealed to the kids too - in today’s digital world this is a huge bonus! We walked around areas that we thought we knew, but in fact learnt so much about Birmingham that amazed us! Who knew about the pen museum?! We’ve walked by the ‘Hall of Memory’ umpteen times and not really picked up on the detail of the sculptures and the significance. The hunt was fabulous to make us all really stop and think about our local history. We stopped along the way both at suggested ‘watering holes’ and others that we came across. It was fab to stop and start the trail at our convenience. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn and see a little more of Birmingham’s history!

Good way to see Birmingham, get lots of steps and some map reading practice :) - Easy to download. Fun getting the clues. Fun searching for and working out the clues. We did get lost a couple of times which meant a bit of extra walking but managed without asking for the optional extra clues. Had never been to Birmingham before and we did this on our first day which was a great way to find our way around. Ended up revisiting some locations the next day and did a canal trip etc. will definitely do more of these treasure hunts in other cities now. It is a lot of walking but breaks are scheduled into the tour and no time limit so you can take extra breaks whenever you like. Comfy trainers essential.

Nice for the first day in the city - These kind of games are great to discover the key spots of cities. Perfect for the first day. This particular app, however, uses a complicated English, which is probably not easy to understand for non-native English speakers. There was a bit too much time spent on the jewellery quarter for my taste and some other nice places were missed
