A memorable day of exploration with Mercury Bay Discovery Boat - My experience aboard the Mercury Bay Discovery Boat was nothing short of extraordinary. The exceptional crew members, Adam and Ella's enthusiasm was infectious, making them perfect guides. The highlight of the day for me was undoubtedly, snorkelling with the fish.

Fantastic. trip round cathedral cove and mercury bay - Went out on the cathedral cove tour on Sunday - what a fabulous trip, beautiful scenery and amazingly clear water. The trip is even better due to the boat, you can get up and walk around to get the best vantage point, and catch. whatever the Skipper is pointing out. Our Skipper was Adam who was a fantastic guide - his knowledge of the area an his passion for conservation was freely shared adding another dimension to the trip.

Brilliant! - Chris and Ella were brilliant guides! We loved the trip, our 8 year old son enjoyed bird spotting and feeding the fish in the sea cave. The best boat there, great to have shelter from sun/rain. Thankyou for a great family trip :)

Perfect Tour - Had a fantastic morning out on a very modern and comfortable catamaran with a great crew (Skipper Chris and Decky Ella). Both gave some fascinating insight to the incredible landscape and local history thru out the tour. If you want comfort and stability when out on the water then this tour will suit you perfectly. Thanks for a great morning Chris and Ella

Absolute must do experience - Wow, this tour is a must do! Fantastic commentary from Adam and Ella as we cruised around the coast from Whitianga, seeing the spectacular coastline to Cathedral Cove. Stopped in the Marine reserve to see the amazing fish, then off to the sea cave. This was a magic experience going into the cave and seeing the schools of fish in the crystal clear water. Off around the island off Hahei to stop on a reef for snorkelling. My companion swam amongst blue Maumau and was ver excited. All in all a brilliant experience and great value.

A chance to see the impressive coast line from the sea and see the inaccessible caves and learn more.. - We went on tour of Cathedral Cove and Mercury Bay’s sea caves. The design of the boat was a key element to our booking. As mentioned by others the catamaran design gives for a smoother ride even at higher speeds. The facilities on board such as toilets were important to our group. The crew were very approachable and knowledgable and were able to answer questions in a light hearted way. The experience of the skipper was really good and we went to a really good snorkelling spot and there was ample time to swim. We’ve done boat trips from Whitianga before but would say that this was the best so far and would definitely book again!
