Amazing half day kayaking the Colorado River! - My friends and I had an absolutely amazing day on the Colorado River! EJ was an excellent tour guide, sharing his knowledge of the river, the land, the animals, and the history. He was so friendly, he felt like family, and was also very laid back, letting us kind of navigate where we wanted to go and hang in certain spots longer. Having a smaller intimate group was great for this reason! The river and the scenery were absolutely beautiful. We even got lucky to see some wildlife. Highly highly recommend Adventure Child. We will definitely be coming back!

Epic kayaking adventure - We had so much fun on this tour. Not only was the kayaking amazing and the emerald cave beautiful, fun and adventurous, the communication from adventure child team was unmatched! We had a last minute reservation and they were able to accommodate. Additionally, we had added 1 person the morning of. Making this reservation was smooth and easy. The tour guide was so kind, knowledgeable and awesome. The kayaking was fun because we had people at different levels so those who paddled faster the guide told us exactly where to go. He also took photos for every group/person in the group. I’ll never forget this experience it was so fun for our group! Thank you guys! Highly recommend to anyone!

Very relaxing, awesome trip - Best Kayak trip ever Beautiful views, the water is crystal clear. (Very cold in May) The operator was very friendly and informative

Perfect smaller, personal tour group for our family. - Adventure Child tour was EXACTLY what we wanted for our family!! It was an intimate group vs. the 15-20 people tours that were going out the same day. We personalized our tour and made a few extra stops that were awesome with gorgeous sites. Our tour guide was friendly and very chill to us asking for changes/ extra stops etc. we made it make within our 4 hours and had a great time. Would 100% book them again!

Great fun Kayaking - First time Kayaking and the guide was very helpful and friendly. My family enjoyed the trip and it was lots of fun. Highly recommend to friends and family. 3~4hr trip for $99 per person wasn't too bad(price point)

Kayaking with EJ - Had a blast! EJ made the experience so easy and fun even took pictures of us at every stop so we could have those memories!!! Highly reccomend!

Do much fun and beautiful. - The tour group was relatively small which was nice. The guide was personable and gave us a lot of great information about native plants, local animals and history of the area. The Colorado river was beautiful, and it was really cool to see the “emerald” green water. The trip was the perfect length of time, not too long, not too short. We would do this again.

Worst tour company! - We went on June 8,2024. Our original booking was 2PM but Elizabeth called us and asked if we can go at 9AM due to warm weather which we obliged. There was no sign when we got there. We went around the area looking for signs, nothing. It was already 9AM and nobody was there. We found other tour groups giving instructions to their group as to what to expect, safety, how to paddle, etc. we watched while waiting for Adventure Child to show up. We were informed by other groups that they are always late and just show up when they want to. Finally,a guy showed up, started unloading different kayak boats and he seemed irritated because we asked him why he’s late. He pointed to a stack of life vests told us to put it on while he was unloading. After unloading, he told us to pick whatever boat and start kayaking without giving instructions and he just assumed we know what to do. We did kayaking before but the other people in our group, didn’t know what they were doing in the beginning. Then we waited for him for maybe another 15 minutes before he got into the water. We basically followed him all through the Emerald Cove then came back which took almost 3 hours. We saw other group stopping at some areas and their tour guides narrating while kayaking. The place is beautiful but I advise you to use a different tour company. Don’t use Adventure Child, you will get frustrated. It’s not worth the money.
