Great trip - travelled from up north on a budget - We booked this last minute for myself, partner and 2 kids using 2 for 1 vouchers, then reading the negative reviews feared we had made a mistake! Travelling from Sheffield We couldn’t afford nor justify the LEGOLAND hotel price so we booked a premier inn in Bracknell for £50 and travelled down Friday with tickets for the park for Saturday 2nd September. Saturday morning we popped to Morrisons and stocked up with drinks, snacks, sandwiches - basically as much as I could fit in my backpack! The night before we planned what rides we wanted to try get on, looked at the map and basically tried to make a plan for the day to get the most out of our trip. Saturday morning we arrived at the park about 9:15 and headed straight to the entrance gates. We were about 5th in line in one of the queues. About 9:30 the gates opened and we headed straight for flight of the sky lion. Half way through the park (before the rides) we were held at another gate. Looking back behind us the queues were big so we did the right thing in arriving early. 10am the whole park opened we walked quickly (bearing in mind we have an 8 and 4 year old so couldnt go that quick) straight to the sky lion ride, by 10.30 we had had a great experience and finished our first main ride! We then followed our plan and managed to get on most rides we wanted as per our plan in the mythica area. one or two we skipped because of majorly long queues. We had dinner watching the pirate show which was great, the kids really enjoyed it. Then followed a similar process in the afternoon going to Lego city and the knights area where the dragon rollercoaster is. Towards the end of the day the park quietened and the rides we missed earlier we went back to and managed to get on. The only ride we didn’t make was the log flume. All in all we got on 12 rides, including the main attractions (excluding the log flume) and we saw the pirate show. Planning is key to get the most from your day. If you arrive without food / drink you will spend a fortune as the place is expensive. Not only that you will waste time queuing for food - the staff aren’t the fastest. Memorabilia like ride pictures, driving licences etc are really expensive. However we told ourselves we weren’t going to spend anything in the park and we didn’t. Recent reviews are the opposite to our experience. The place was clean. Normal story of some disgusting people throwing rubbish rather than putting it in bins however this isn’t the parks fault and we saw many litter pickers throughout the day. Yes we queued a lot for rides, however surely that’s expected at attractions like this in peak times. Our kids loved it and are already asking to go back. Which I think we will however there was a lot we didn’t see purely down to the place being huge and lack of time, so we will probably try get a cheap premier inn nearby for 2 nights and have 2 days in the park. I agree with all the other comments about the car parking fee - feels like it’s just another reason to make money. Surely parking should be included in the ticket cost as it is expensive. Tips * arrive early * get the app and try make a rough plan for the day what rides you want to get on in what areas * take food and drink unless you want to waste time and spend a fortune * the park closes at 6 however if you are in a queue the park honours your position - good opportunity to get on any last minute rides you may have missed * don’t rush to leave at 6 as the queues to exit the car park are bad

Terrible services inside the park - We went there for a day trip and the park itself is nice and fun, but the services they provide inside the park are horrible. We bought two refill cups online and when we got there to claim them, we were told that there was no ice in some machines. It turned out NONE of the drink machines had any ice in them. All the beverages were warm and it was 30 degrees hot. I tried to return the cups and get a refund but I was told that I couldn't do it because I had already used them once. I had to end up buying cold beverages from the kiosks and spending twice the money I should have spent. After that, we bought the photo pass to download the family photos from the rides, but the phone signal wasn't very good and the battery was dying, so I asked the person who sold us the pass if I could download the photos when I got home and he said yes, of course. When we got home I typed in the photo codes and I got a message saying the photos weren't available anymore and they only store them for 2 hours. I have tried to get in touch regarding the photos and there's no support whatsoever anywhere; Just an email address and they don't reply. So, in conclusion, I spent £22 in cups I couldn't use and £20 in a photo pass that gave me 0 photos.

Don't buy the refillable drink!! - Second vist in five years, wasn't impressed five years ago as it was very run down, but my wife wanted to take the kids back now there older. We paid extra for the driving licence fine no problem kids and wife we're pleased 👍 Paid extra for the cup and infinite refills!!!!! What a joke hardly any machine worked and if you was lucky to find one that did it was warm or only had Three selections two of which will be carbonated water. No ice at any machine. This spoiled our day. The buffet pizza was good value in my opinion although if you're a fussy eater it might not be for you. The park seems to have been maintained better this time round. rides we're good although there we're lengthy waits but it was during the school holidays to be expected. *Don't buy the refillable drink *Don't take cash its card only(everywhere) *Get there early you will be queueing to get in *if theres a ride you really want to do then go there first the queues will only get longer *If you want to go in the shop then do it way before the park closes (huge queue) If it wasn't for the refillable drink i would have given a 3-4 star

Nope... Just nope. - Way too overcrowded. They just let everyone in and charge insanely high prices for you to just queue all day. I couldn't believe how many people where there. We ended up paying for reserve & ride which means you can queue on your phone and head over when it's your turn. I assumed we could reserve maybe two in one go.. but nope. You also head over when it's your turn to then have to wait an extra 20mins anyway.. Nothing is included. There were little stalls and games which were at a cost, parking is £10, the food was not nice and expensive. Due to us queuing all day, we missed maybe 50% of the park and only saw it as we were leaving. At closing time. This was a really disappointing day for an extremely high cost. I still can't believe how much I spent for this day out...

Please listen to the bad reviews - they are right! Park cares only about money and not customer experience and enjoyment - Honestly! LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. Biggest money grabbing park or event I have ever been to and we have been to many. Almost 8 hours at the park and we got on 5 rides. - Far to many people let in to the park like a lot of people have said - Too many people with fast passes, crazy with the price of them! £101 pp for the top one. - Queue times were all wrong. Worst example being the balloon ride. It said 20 minutes and we were over one hour for a 2 minute ride. There are only 6 cars and with the fast pass people getting on all of the cars constantly, the standard queue barely moved. It took people moaning and a new worker with common sense to let them have 2 of the cars and 4 to the general queue. We spoke to lady behind us in queue for one of the rides and they waited 2 hours for the rapids when it said 55 minutes! It was a problem on every ride. - Several rides had a lack of staff. Had there been one person getting people off and one on, it could have potentially reduced the waiting times on some rides - mental with the cost of the park and things in it - more than enough money ti pay staff!! - Food prices are crazy! £8.75 for a hot dog similar to one from a tin. £14 for chips and 4 chicken strippers with a small drink - if you do brave going take your own lunch. Wish we did. - Park filtered out by 4.30-45 and there were way less people and it was really noticeable - Tell you why? Because everyone was getting fed up with the queues and greed! - £10 parking! Didn’t check parking before we went but when we left I was shock. The park already had £150 off us for 4 tickets and we got on 5 rides! - Our children got frustrated all the time and in the end we finished with tiny town which was way calmer and actually enjoyable see - but that’s not just what we paid all that money for We will not be recommending the park to anyone and there is no chance we will ever be back! Don’t waste your money! Legoland should be ashamed of themselves. One word for it, ‘Greed’.

Queuing queuing queuing, and more queuing - If you are wondering whether to ignore the reviews and go , or whether to give it a miss… honestly, unless you have a child who is obsessed with Lego, don’t even bother. The queuing is absolutely ridiculous. My 4 year old son was so patient queuing , but it was so frustrating and boring , and really just felt like a bit of a rip off for what you pay for. Admittedly , he isn’t massively interested in Lego, apart from watching legocity / and ninjago, and building the odd thing. So we went for the rides really. You will queue for 50-60 minutes for every ride that is worth going on (unless you go on a school week day I guess) . Even the really small, boring and unpopular rides were 30-40 minutes to queue. It really ruined our day. I think we managed a total of 4/5 rides/attractions in the whole day. There is a £25pp reserve and ride pass you can buy on top of entry, but you have to still wait the same queue time , you just don’t physically have to stand in the queue. We asked a couple if it was worth it, and they said they would book a ride and then whilst they were waiting the 60 mins queue time they had reserved , they would go on another ride somewhere else and so they would alternate between queuing on a ride normally and then queue jumping the next ride for the one they reserved- can only reserve one at a time. Seems a lot of money for a family to pay an extra £25pp for that? On top of £33pp entry! It’s such a lot of money to pay, for not a lot. We took our own food thankfully, as the food looked rubbish and extortionately priced. The queue for ice creams was absolutely huge as well. The park was absolutely rammed. Unless you’ve got £90pp to spend on the instant access pass, I wouldn’t waste your time. Unless your child is absolutely mad about Lego , I just can’t see the justification to stand in queues all day long.

Very disappointed - Visited on probably the hottest day of the year thought it wise to buy a refillable drinks bottle. They’re £16. Put that to one side for the moment, the first drinks station dispensed warm, flat coke, no ice. Undrinkable. Tipped it away. Went to try another station but over heard families saying same thing. I asked 2 other families all said the same. If I’d paid £4-5 I would have let it go, but £16 thought I’d get a refund. Went to customer services, was fobbed off and told to go across to sweet shop?? Eventually got a manager. They scanned it and could see it was only used once. No interest & no apology. Further more denied any issue with drinks. I got offered £6 refund and they retained the cup. This should be unequivocally full refund. No question. Woefully poor. Behind me in the queue was another group with the same complaint. On a side note, prices are criminally expensive. We enjoyed the rides, but this really put a dampener on it. It was my sons birthday treat as well. Won’t be returning. You’ve only got to scroll though the other reviews to see the same themes occurring. Until people start voting with their feet l see nothing changing.

Don’t do it - We’re in the car on the way back from legoland. If you’re thinking of going to legoland Windsor for the day… … seriously consider going elsewhere. If you have already promised it… - don’t even think about going at a weekend on school holidays. Including an inset day. - book reserve and ride for everyone. Just add it to the coat of the day in your head. Your day will be ruined if you don’t. You’ll still have to queue and wait but you will get in every ride an Bout an hour before everyone else. - take your own food and drink. It’s extortionate in there. If it’s going to be hot, take plenty of water. - arrive earlier than it opens, the car parks queues are awful - book parking in advance. - get the app to see waiting times and book slots To the legoland management…. - why are your standard customers treated like peasants if they don’t have reserve and ride? It is honestly sole destroying when you wait with little children more than an hour for a ride, you’re near the front, only to have numerous cycles of it filled with reserve and ride. We gave up on 3 rides after waiting more than an hour because the staff were giving all spaces to reserve and ride and under filling the carriages. - why does it cost £10-12 for a child to get a face paint? And £10 for a kids transfer tattoo? That is daylight robbery, you should be ashamed. - your toilets in some places in the park are disgusting. Filthy floors, toilets that don’t flush, locks that don’t lock. And why is all the water from the taps boiling hot so kids scold themselves? - how did you run out of bottles water at most of your kiosks by 2pm? - why are all your staff looking so tired and sad? Some honestly couldn’t care, others speak safety instructions so fast you don’t get a chance to hear them. - why don’t you fill each ride before it goes? Chained swings, half empty when there’s a 20 min queue. Legoland express - 2 people per bench when it seats 4 and there’s people who have queued an hour. - why do you have a handful of benches even in the playground when you have thousands of people who are spending their day standing or walking? We were so looking forward to the day at Legoland, travelled more than 2 hours to get there and have many friends who’ve been in the past who say they loved it. Todays visit was a huge disappointment.

Never again - Horrific place. Extremely busy. All rides with hour long queues. £200 entry. Currently stood in a 55 min queue in 30C heat. No shade, no cover. All in the name of sheer greed

Do not even consider it, I am honest - I hope you read this before even considering to visit this place. It was HORRIBLE experience, both for parents and kids. First, the WAITING. I was well equipped with their app before going, and we checked waiting lines for all activities, choosing the ones with the shortest waiting. However, the waiting of 50 minutes (as shown on app) turned into 1.5 hours. At the end of the day, the app shows that there are 33 rides and activities, and we manage to do 4 of them. Totally not worth the stress, angry and upset kids, and money we paid. Second, the most DEMANDED activities. There were a few things we wanted to do. One of them was underwater experience. We lined up for it, and after 30 minutes of waiting, an employee came to say that the waiting is gonna be too long (more than 90 minutes), and we should leave. Third, the COST. On every single corner there are activities that require payment. Furthermore, you can buy a fast track pass to actually be able to enter some of the activities. It all adds up to a very high price. Fourth, the REFUND. After totally horrible experience, I contacted customer team requiring at least partical refund as it was not a value for money I have paid. This is their reply: I'm afraid a refund is unfortunately not something we can offer, as all tickets are purchased on a non-refundable/non-transferable basis. These T&C's are ticked and agreed to by yourself when checking out. Fifth, the CLOSING TIMES. It closes at 6 right? But around 4.30 all doors to waiting for the most famous activities close down, so you a left with a choice of few rides. But guess what? The line fills up quite fast there. On a small note- when exiting the resort, I honestly did not see even one happy parent or kid. Everyone, and I swear EVERYONE left the resort totally upset.
